Embracing the Little Waist: Romantic XANA, My Goddess!

It's been a while since I've thoroughly explored Guangzhou. Most times, I'm just in transit. This time, with two days, I can truly enjoy it again.

After two days of fun, the final stop had to be Guangzhou's most striking landmark—Guangzhou Tower, to give the 'Little Waist' a hug.

We entered from the west tower entrance, took the elevator to the 32nd floor, and gazed up at the swirling elegance of Guangzhou Tower from the prime photo spot.

It was dusk; the sun had set, leaving a warm golden glow in the sky, and the surrounding skyscrapers began to light up.

We decided to climb the world's longest spiral aerial staircase—the Spider Walk. The Spider Walk (Spider Walk) vertical sky journey goes from the 32nd to the 64th floor, about 1000 meters long. I love seeing different views; the Spider Walk lets you experience the tower's unpredictable and breathtaking architectural beauty. As the lights just came on, the mood was set. Looking down at the elegantly designed Liede Bridge over the Pearl River, though it wasn't fully dark yet, sightseeing boats were already cruising. The night was gradually revealing her enchanting side, especially the beauty of movement.

In 28 minutes and 46 seconds (including climbing and photo stops), we successfully conquered the entire Spider Walk. After a short rest, we took the sightseeing elevator to the world's highest horizontal Ferris wheel at 455 meters. Looking up at the tower top, Guangzhou Tower shone brightly like a radiant lighthouse.

The high-altitude Ferris wheel at night is stunning, composed of 16 'crystal' viewing cabins. From high up, gazing at the romantic starry sky and the twinkling city lights, the world seems to revolve beneath your feet.

A small elevator took us up to 488 meters, the world's highest photography observation deck, the highest point accessible to tourists. Here, you can freely and enthusiastically photograph nighttime Guangzhou. Looking out, the Guangzhou International Financial Center area sparkles with stars, and under the neon-lit Guangzhou Bridge, boats pass by one after another.

Standing atop the city, with a 360° unobstructed view of the 'Ram City' (Guangzhou's nickname), you truly feel a regal, commanding presence! It makes you linger, unwilling to leave...

Only after descending from Guangzhou Tower did I feel famished. Eating in Guangzhou—of course, you have to sample the authentic Cantonese cuisine here.

First, a large platter of Cantonese-style barbecued meats: beautiful in color, fragrant, tender, and slightly sweet—delicious!

Red Onion Chicken: glossy tender and soft, the shallot aroma blends with the savory sauces—so comforting.

Stir-fried Sweet Peppers, Lily Bulbs, and Sweet Peas with Crispy Pork (photo/text by Qingliugan)

Stir-fried Sweet Peppers, Lily Bulbs, and Sweet Peas with Crispy Pork: this dish combines meat and vegetables, visually appealing, nutritious, and tasty—I love it! Alright, those are the three dishes I recommend.

After the meal, we strolled arm in arm to the Pearl River bank, chatting and enjoying the breeze with the girl—a picture of relaxed elegance. Getting ready for a night cruise on the Pearl River.

The Pearl River's waves lapping, with the Haiyin Bridge resembling 'sails setting out to sea'; the Haiyin Bridge looks like two standing rams, symbolizing the beautiful 'Ram City' Guangzhou; its stretching cable stays seem like strings playing the glorious symphony of new Guangzhou...

From the river, the colorful 'Little Waist' of Guangzhou Tower looks so beautiful, so beautiful, so beautifully beautiful—I want to hug you tight! The river waves gently rock the boat... enjoying this massage-like night cruise!

Since we were flying out of Guangzhou the next noon, and to sleep comfortably and extend the dreamy time here with some extra sleep, we chose the XANA Hotel Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport branch, less than 5 km from the airport. Not only is it close, but the hotel offers 24-hour free airport transfer service; guests or those with reservations just need to call the front desk 10 minutes in advance to enjoy this service. It felt convenient and thoughtful, so we booked it! XANA's night was quietly awaiting our return!

XANA Hotel is a mid-range brand under Jin Jiang Group in China. The XANA Hotel Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport branch is a newly opened boutique hotel. The lobby is spacious and bright, the handsome front desk staff enthusiastic, attentive, and efficient—check-in was quick. Credit cards and other third-party quick payments are accepted, and no additional deposit was required.

The entire check-in process took less than 3 minutes, including temperature checks and showing a health QR code. There's free disinfectant at the front desk, and all hotel staff wear masks, allowing guests to check in with peace of mind.

On one side of the lobby is a stylish, minimalist, refreshing and cozy creative lounge book bar. You can pick a book or magazine you like and enjoy it alone, or chat and relax with friends, experiencing that comfort and warmth.

Or at the leisure water bar—'Gan Bar'—have a beauty night treat and whisper over a drink.

The hotel corridors are tidy and clean, decorated simply and refreshingly. On the walls, there are goddess paintings, in XANA's consistently elegant and fresh style.

We stayed in the XANA Goddess Romantic King Room on the 6th floor. The turndown service was already done. Late at night, tired from fun, we went straight to the about 8-square-meter bathroom. The bathroom has separate wet and dry areas, well-zoned. The spacious vanity has good-quality toiletry items and hand towels, and the faucet provides hot water quickly. The shower hot water is comfortable, available 24/7, with smooth drainage. After a warm bath, goodnight, my love!

The hotel's surroundings are quiet, and I woke up naturally. With the smart control system, I opened the floor-to-ceiling curtains, and it was already bright. Looking around, the room was cozy and refined. The sleeping area of about 20 square meters feels spacious and grand. The 2-meter-wide king bed is thick, soft, and smooth, as if specially prepared for a goddess. The bed's color scheme matches the room's style well, something girls will like.

The room has its own WiFi, a large ultra-high-definition LCD internet TV, and by the window, there's a goddess sofa to recline on, with a small round table. You can lazily sunbathe here with a cup of tea, adding a touch of refined elegance.

The black-and-white paired wall art, high-end eye-care table lamp, aromatherapy, and electric kettle, plus exclusive drinking water and quality teacups and tea... It feels like every detail shows XANA spoiling its guests, hoping that every day at XANA is a brilliant bloom.

XANA Hotel Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport has a buffet breakfast restaurant, breakfast costs 40 RMB, served from 07:00 to 10:00. They also offer beauty floral tea and other special services for guests to enjoy.

Here, my goddess, a beauty-enhancing fruit breakfast, please.

It will surely bring you a day full of vitality.

Next to the lobby, there's a display of the hotel's IP merchandise; guests who like them can purchase as souvenirs.
