The main reason I've always been fond of Hilton Guangzhou Science City is that in the Pearl River Delta, it's hard to find another family-friendly resort that ticks all our boxes:

Hilton Guangzhou Science City is nestled in the lush, tree-lined Guangzhou Science City, surrounded by natural landscapes, parks, and historical sites—perfect for a relaxing family getaway. Open the door to your room, and you're greeted by a sea of greenery; the serene setting feels like a natural oxygen bar.

A Comfortable and Thoughtful Stay

After a short drive, we finally arrived at Hilton Guangzhou Science City.

The kids were bubbling with excitement the moment we stepped into the lobby: "Wow, it's so beautiful here! You can see the blue sky and white clouds right through the roof!"

We stayed in a family room with a balcony; it was incredibly spacious, and even as a family of four, we never felt cramped.

The outdoor balcony had a sofa, perfect for sipping tea and enjoying the view.

With the afternoon sun shining, stepping onto the balcony offered a quiet, verdant vista of the pool—breathe in deeply, and the air was especially fresh.

The family room has plenty of highlights that parents will appreciate:

The hotel thoughtfully prepares a tent, a little wooden horse, cartoon bed linens, kids' bathrobes, children's slippers, a step stool, kid-friendly toiletries, towel animals, and a whole set of Transformers co-branded gifts, making kids feel pampered from the moment they arrive. It's a perfect score!

Our daughter couldn't wait to put on the kids' bathrobe and pose with the special toiletries, haha!

The Transformers gift set is really practical. If you have a little princess at home, you can opt for the My Little Pony themed gifts instead!

Watching the siblings happily playing and laughing, I truly felt that their joy is my sunshine.

Outdoor Colorful Hot Spring Pools

After a short afternoon nap, we headed to the hotel's outdoor colorful hot spring pools on the first floor to unwind.

My parents particularly loved the jacuzzi pool, where thousands of bubbles and targeted water jets hit different acupressure points, easing aches and relieving muscle tension.

Milk pool, rose pool, clematis pool, lingzhi pool, and morinda root pool are scattered in a leafy setting. Soaking quietly here, you slowly relax your tired body; both the elderly and kids left feeling utterly content and comfortable.

As dusk fell, the evening buffet at Pin All-Day Dining Restaurant began.

Compared to typical five-star hotel buffets, Pin's dinner buffet is more creative and fresh.

My Little Pony Themed Desserts

Our daughter has always loved My Little Pony, and when she saw the dessert station with that theme, she jumped for joy!

The dessert display, combining all sorts of sweets with My Little Pony decorations, was as exquisite as art.

What delighted the kids even more was the My Little Pony chocolate fountain!

Pure chocolate slowly melted into a luscious sauce, filling the air with its sweet fragrance.

It went perfectly with fresh strawberries, marshmallows, cake, cantaloupe, and other fruits and snacks.

After dipping a strawberry into the thick, smooth chocolate, a crisp shell forms instantly; one bite releases a silky, sweet explosion on your tongue!

Every time I hit the buffet, I head straight for the seafood.

Pin offers unlimited fresh seafood—giant river prawns, shrimp, three-spot crabs, spotted whelks, mussels, and scallops, all meaty and delicious, satisfying any seafood craving.

There's also a lavish spread of thick-cut sashimi and sushi, freshly sliced and arranged by the chef right there.

The salmon sashimi was plump, glistening temptingly. After a light dip in wasabi and soy sauce, I was expecting a gentle taste, but the unique flavor of salmon filled my mouth instantly; a few chews later, it melted away.

Live Cooking Stations

The restaurant features multiple open kitchens where chefs prepare dishes from around the world on the spot—a feast for both the palate and the eyes.

For me, the must-tries are the roast meats and pan-fried steak. Watching the chef slice and grill, with the irresistible aroma wafting over, really boosts your appetite!

On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, each guest also receives a complimentary lobster!

What's even more surprising is that Pin All-Day Dining Restaurant actually serves hot pot!

They offer a variety of soup bases to suit everyone: spicy for the young, while the elderly and kids can choose a mild broth.

The hot pot ingredients are commendable: frog, soft-shell turtle, giant river prawns, clams, and octopus for the elders, plus a wide selection of beef cuts, freshly sliced—flank, shank, ribeye, muscle, and tenderloin—you name it!

I almost felt like I'd walked into a Chaoshan hot pot joint!

The meat quality was excellent, freshness and texture spot-on, and the siblings finished plate after plate!

There's so much more delicious food—hot and cold dishes, soups, and ice cream... I only wish I had more stomachs!

Three generations gathered around the table, each finding their favorite treats; the warm, happy atmosphere was a perfect 100!

Greenway Strolls and Bike Rides

Caiyun Bridge, Tengxiang Bridge, Lanyue Bridge, Rainbow Bridge—each with its own character.

No matter the season, Guangzhou Science City surprises: plum blossoms in January, magnolias in early spring, yellow trumpet trees and kapok in March and April, and hyssop flowers during Qingming. The bauhinias bloom year-round in clusters of color.

The greenways around Hilton Guangzhou Science City are ideal for cycling and walking. With the scent of flowers and birdsong, a close encounter with nature here makes for precious family time.

Luogang Xiangxue is one of the Eight Sights of Guangzhou. Besides seeing white plum blossoms at Luogang Xiangxue Park, there's also a plum blossom path on the north side of Yushu Park, reachable by following the greenway.

Our elders have spent a lifetime raising us. What they likely long for most isn't material gifts, but simply the joy of being with family.

Playing games with the grandkids, holding their hands as they stride along, cuddling them for photos—our grandparents beamed from ear to ear, exclaiming that Guangzhou Science City is a true haven of fresh air and beauty.

On a family trip, seeing your parents seem younger from sheer happiness makes every effort worthwhile.

Authentic Cantonese Cuisine at Xiangxue Lou

Xiangxue Lou Chinese Restaurant on the second floor has an elegant Chinese ambience; from the moment you enter, you feel warmly welcomed.

Though we dine at many Cantonese restaurants every year, few match Xiangxue Lou, where every dish won me over.

Maybe it's the chef's superb skills, maybe the old Cantonese flavors hit just right, or maybe the relaxed setting—whatever it was, my taste buds were awakened.

Our two-day, one-night multi-generational getaway left us with a treasure trove of happy memories. With the Spring Festival approaching, I highly recommend bringing your family to Hilton Guangzhou Science City.

The hotel has outdoor colorful hot spring pools, an indoor heated pool, outdoor pool, fitness center, and a Little General Manager kids' program—no need for elaborate planning or rushing around; quality family moments await.

Five-star service, dining, and room details are flawless. Every stay reveals the hotel's sincere dedication and meticulous care.
