With the 7-day National Day holiday, where can the whole family go? If you don’t want to leave the province or get stuck in traffic on the expressway, then we suggest heading to Guangzhou’s Nansha District. Why? Because during the Mid-Autumn Festival, our family of six, young and old, spent an unforgettable three-day holiday in Nansha. Nansha has changed so much. From downtown Guangzhou, it’s just over 50 minutes via expressway to the hotel. We stayed at a hotel next to the district government building, with convenient transport and a free parking lot. Right by the hotel, there’s a lake and a park, and downstairs there’s a food plaza.
Fun-filled Nansha, especially the many delicious food options at Youfang Tiandi. Recently, a very trendy and beautiful hotel opened: #Guangzhou Nansha Youfang MUSTEL (Muwen Ti) Hotel. A truly special hotel, so much fun.
Strolling along the bluestone paths in the style of old Suzhou, winding corridors, passing by the dreamlike waterside village of 'little bridges, flowing streams, and households.' The little wooden cottage on the lawn, the Western-style garden wall, white wrought-iron pumpkin carriage, vintage American classic car, row after row of conifer hedge walls, and the fresh vibe of Japanese and Korean aesthetics—all this you can enjoy at Puzhou Garden.
Nansha Tianhou Palace is located at the foot of Dajiao Mountain, on the verge of the Pearl River estuary—Lingdingyang. Nestled by hills and water, a place of natural beauty and cultural grace, it combines the architectural style of the Forbidden City in Beijing with the solemn grandeur of the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in Nanjing.
Nansha Waterbird World Ecological Park is praised as a 'bird paradise,' a rare bird sanctuary in the Pearl River Delta. Birds live and breed here free from worries. The bamboo architecture of the Waterbird World comprises three floors, surrounded by water on two sides and hidden among the trees, evoking a strong Southeast Asian charm. The bamboo houses resemble birds resting by the wetland shore. Black swans and white pelicans glide leisurely in the water.
The hotel is right next to the Nansha district government. In front of the hotel is a vast green central park spanning tens of thousands of square meters, and beside it is Fengqi Lake. The building below is all about food. Personally, I feel this new hotel, #Guangzhou Nansha Mustel, is a trendy design hotel brand created for the youthful generation. By tapping into the insights of the younger crowd, it blends multiculturalism into physical spaces, endlessly extending the imagination of what a 'hotel' can be. It offers creative and fashionable travelers an unprecedented hotel experience, creating a mixed-space hotel that inspires and is fun and self-contained.
The most direct meaning of a mixed-space hotel is meeting the individual needs of different travelers through multi-functional space combinations. It is a hotel and yet much more than an ordinary hotel. Beyond the artistic guest rooms, there is a particularly fun family parent-child room (highly recommended; kids absolutely love it—they can slide directly from the second floor!), cute, cozy, and unique. It also features functional meeting rooms, a Western restaurant, a gym, a self-service laundry, and more. In these different spaces, entertainment and leisure intersect, art aesthetics and lifestyle interweave, sparking a constant desire to explore. And I especially loved the restaurant on the third floor, with its exceptional design aesthetics, blending Lingnan style with a modern Western flair. On the ground floor, there is a special bar offering complimentary 'cocktails.' The whole family had a wonderful time, especially the kids.
