Guilin Liangjiang International Airport operates an average of about 172 flights per day, covering 60 international cities and 48 domestic cities. It is one of the two main airports in Guangxi, both within and outside the region.

The airport is 30 km from downtown Guilin. The airport shuttle waits until all 45 seats are filled before departing. The fare is 20 RMB per person, and the ride takes about 40 minutes. There are three train (high-speed rail) stations in downtown Guilin.
