Perhaps it's because the city is home to someone you love, or maybe for a vivid scenery on the street, for a past memory of youth, for a familiar old house. Just as falling in love with a person, sometimes you need no reason. No cause, no romance, just love. That's the kind of city it is.

It is this kind of city that infatuates people with its slow pace of life everywhere.

You can wake up bathed in warm sunlight, grab a book and bask by the riverbank. You can leisurely stroll the cobblestone streets of the old town, find a café to quietly listen to music, ride a bike through mountains and rivers, sit on a patch of grass and daydream.

May we all maintain a slow-paced attitude amidst the fast-paced life.

To echo the style of the old sugar mill, the newly added guest room area and villa area feature a hollowed brick design on the exterior. The colors blend with the old sugar mill's existing buildings, avoiding abruptness and preserving the sense of history.

Stylistically, it also echoes the mill's architecture. The guest rooms and villas are not abrupt shapes but rectangular buildings parallel to the old structures or the mountain.

The guest rooms themselves incorporate the unique karst landscape characteristics of Guangxi. The designer calls it "karst cave space."

Three karst cave spaces ascend in sequence, dividing the entire guest building into three parts.

This horizontal walkway goes up and then down, with varying heights, and the lighting changes accordingly—bright then dim—effectively presenting the important characteristics of karst topography.

The original industrial structures facing the bay were not all dismantled. This was originally a dock for transporting sugarcane, now transformed into a very industrial-style swimming pool.

The iron-frame concrete frames on both sides frame the distant green hills and clear water, while the emerald pool and sun loungers in the middle exude a leisurely resort vibe.

Echoing the water, there is also a large central water feature. It allows guests to step down into a sunken garden from high to low, then ascend to the villa area from low to high.

From morning to night, the reflections of the old sugar mill building, accompanied by sunlight or lamplight, make it seem as if the pool lifts the mill, perfect for painting.

Take the cable car for a 360° panoramic view of the terraced fields. At Golden Buddha Peak, watch the sunset over Longji Mountain, capturing the tranquility and peace of the terraces at this moment.

Walk through Jinkeng Dazhai, get to know the Red Yao people for the first time, unveil the mysterious veil behind the Red Yao, discover their stories.

Be a Yao village resident for a day, make bamboo tube rice by hand, experience indigenous life, and only then realize the beauty of nature.

Climb to the top. In the darkness, a line of red light spills out from where water and sky meet. The pale blue morning is instantly dyed golden by the rising sun. The gentle sunlight sprinkles through the mist onto the landscape, with an indescribable elegance. The sun slowly emerges from the encirclement, appearing at the peak of the mountains, dyeing distant peaks in glorious gold. The light before sunrise cannot yet penetrate the layered peaks, shrouded by morning mist, turning into a picturesque beauty.
