It is said that Guilin's landscapes are the best under heaven, and Yangshuo's landscapes are the best in Guilin – they are the poetry and distant dreams of life.

Now the distant dreams are not far away – a two-hour high-speed train ride can bring you to this poetry and distance.

No matter how many times I have been to Guilin, it always brings new surprises.

Sanqianli Scenic Area is only 6 kilometers from Yangshuo Station, and it is very convenient to take a taxi. The scenic area also offers free shuttle service, which is very convenient. Sanqianli is a comprehensive resort that covers food, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment all in one. If you don't have a long vacation to run around visiting various attractions and just want a happy holiday, then Sanqianli is definitely a super suitable resort.

The entrance building of the scenic area is quite distinctive. The wooden visitor center is simple and elegant, with towering roof ridges. The chandeliers in the lobby resemble oil-paper umbrellas, and the wooden decor always gives a warm feeling.

In the lobby, there are bamboo-woven decorations. Just as embroidery reminds us of Jiangnan, bamboo weaving reminds us of the countryside, of fishermen catching fish, of children under trees – instantly returning to simplicity.

There are several themed hotels in Sanqianli Scenic Area. Among them, we stayed at Yujia'ao. Others include Huajianji themed with flowers, Tianwenjin themed with Zhuang brocade, and the Hepan Chuanwu (Riverside Boat House) themed with fishing boats.

Yujia'ao is themed with the fishing fire culture by the Li River. Cormorant fishing has been passed down for thousands of years and is a unique fishing culture along the Li River. Yujia'ao's decoration uses elements like bamboo rafts and bamboo baskets, creating a sense of traveling through time for a hundred years under the play of light and shadow.

Using bamboo baskets as lamps, and small boats as planters in the courtyard, constantly reminding visitors of the fishing fires by the Li River.

The room door signs are also ingenious, evoking fishing boats and nets.

In summer at Sanqianli Scenic Area, the river water is clear, the sky is blue, and the mountains are so close, as if you can embrace the beautiful landscapes with an outstretched hand.

Along the river, there is a long pathway. Walking here in the early morning, evening, or at night is quite delightful.

There are kayaking activities in the scenic area, allowing you to truly embrace Guilin's landscapes.

If you want to be lively, you can have a water fight with friends, using ladles and water guns as "weapons" (but remember not to use paddles to "fight").

If you want excitement, you can race with friends to see who can paddle the fastest and farthest.

If you want peace, you can paddle slowly and drift on the water, going wherever the mood takes you, letting your thoughts wander afar.

The food in Sanqianli Scenic Area is not particularly stunning, but the experience is excellent. There is a new-media sensory restaurant, a music dining bar, an outdoor dining area with mountain and river views, and a Guilin Rice Noodle Culture Center where you can make your own rice noodles. There are many types of food and many ways to enjoy it.

At night, Sanqianli presents a live landscape performance – "Three Lifetimes, Three Thousand Li". The story revolves around the three reincarnations of a little fishing girl and a magical fish, telling a love story set in the landscapes of Sanqianli. Actually, what you experience more is the atmosphere. The audience sits on the riverbank and watches the actors perform on the water. This kind of live landscape drama is all about the ambiance.
