I love taking Little Meatball to see the scenery. Guangzhou is bustling, but a bit too noisy. Taking him to the green mountains and clear waters can both cultivate Little Meatball's temperament and let him run wild.

Guilin's scenery is the best under heaven, and Yangshuo's scenery is the best in Guilin. Without a doubt, the mountains and waters of Guilin and Yangshuo have enchanting beauty. The flowing Li River shapes wonderful landscapes here, perfect for both relaxation and vacation.

I brought Little Meatball here again. It takes only two hours by high-speed rail from Guangzhou to Yangshuo, very convenient.

I've been to many cities, and if there's a Romance Park nearby, I never miss it. It's the same with Little Meatball. For a child of Little Meatball's age, books may be a bit dull, stories a bit monotonous. Taking him on trips to learn about a place's history and stories—a show might be a good choice. And Romance Park is exactly that kind of show.

Guilin Romance Park is located in the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area of Yangshuo. The Ten-Mile Gallery has always been the most exquisite part of Yangshuo's beauty. Along the ten-mile stretch, rolling hills are as charming as delicate landscape paintings. Built here, Romance Park gains an extra touch of elegance.

Arriving at Romance Park, the entrance features the iconic sculpture of Romance Park. Walking through this gate feels like traveling through a thousand years of time, savoring the stories belonging to this place.

The biggest selling point of Romance Park is, of course, its show. Hidden inside the Grand Theater is an advanced stage that uses various lighting, sound, and visual effects to create a stunning and moving stage performance.

The Guilin Romance show is divided into five acts, including "Call of the Ancients," "Songs of the Earth," "Rice Noodle Love Story," "Jingjiang Prince's Mansion," and "Third Sister Liu."

"Call of the Ancients": In ancient times, humans always had to fight against nature. This act praises the bravery and wisdom of ancient people.

In this act, you can see scenes of ancient pottery making, hunting, and more. Ancient people may not have had advanced tools or extensive knowledge, but they used their wisdom and courage to carve out a living space.

In this act, you can see water on stage, lightning and thunder, creating an immersive experience.

"Songs of the Earth": Guilin is a multi-ethnic region, where Zhuang, Yi, Yao, Dong, Miao, and other ethnic groups coexist peacefully. Since ancient times, various minorities have lived and multiplied here. Minorities have always been known for their singing and dancing. This act creates scenes of minority life through their songs and dances.

In ancient Guilin, amid the beautiful mountains and clear waters, various ethnic groups lived happily in this fairyland-like place. Their passionate and moving songs and dances captivate the audience right from the first act.

"Rice Noodle Love Story": Guilin rice noodles have always been the most famous local delicacy. Tasty and rich in rice aroma, rice noodles are a must-try when visiting Guilin. However, few people know the story behind them.

During the Qin Dynasty, the Lingqu Canal was built in Guilin. Countless Qin soldiers sacrificed their youth, blood, and lives to carve a canal connecting the Li River and Xiang River.

This act tells the story of a Guilin woman, Qin Ying, whose son died in battles with the Baiyue people while building the Lingqu. Many soldiers suffered from acclimatization and plague, longing for noodles from home. To continue her son's unfinished work, Qin Ying stayed at the canal, enduring hardships. She eventually made rice noodles by grinding rice into flour, which boosted the morale of the Qin army and led to the completion of the Lingqu. A small bowl of rice noodles contributed to Qin Shi Huang's great unification of China for the first time.

In this act, the longing for home, the effort for national unity, and the brotherhood among soldiers are vividly portrayed. Little Meatball was moved to tears by the story.

"Jingjiang Prince's Mansion": Zhu Yuanzhang founded the Ming Dynasty and enfeoffed 25 vassal princes to guard various regions. Among them, the Jingjiang Prince guarding Guilin was undoubtedly the most special.

Of the 25 vassal princes, 24 were his sons; only Jingjiang Prince Zhu Shouqian was his grandnephew. The hereditary Jingjiang Prince lasted until the seventh year of Shunzhi, making it the longest-lasting vassal prince in history.

After the Jingjiang Prince's Mansion was built, envoys from all countries came to pay tribute. The mansion was praised as "Guilin's scenery is the best under heaven; after visiting the prince's mansion, you know Guilin." This act recreates the splendor of the Jingjiang Prince's Mansion. Envoys from various countries, attracted by its prosperity, came to the mansion, adding more color.

Through this act, it feels like returning to the most prosperous time of the Ming Dynasty, evoking a deep longing.

"Third Sister Liu": If you had to pick the most famous figure in Guilin, Third Sister Liu would undoubtedly be the one. Third Sister Liu is a legendary Zhuang woman, full of wisdom and able to sing moving folk songs.

This act tells the story of Third Sister Liu bravely pursuing a happy love.

Following Third Sister Liu's footsteps, you pass through the Huangbu Reflection in Xingping Ancient Town, the mysterious Silver Cave, the beautiful Moon Hill, and the thousand-year-old banyan tree, as if touring Guilin's scenic spots.

Now, whenever you come here, you always hear legends of Third Sister Liu. The free and happy life people longed for has been realized. Today, we no longer need a Third Sister Liu, but everyone can be one.

The entire show is interlocking, from ancient times to modern days. Each act tells the legends and stories of Guilin. With the actors' brilliant performances and the luxurious stage created by special effects and audiovisuals, Little Meatball and I gained a deeper understanding of the stories here during the one-hour show, making our trip to Guilin even more anticipated.

For Little Meatball, dinosaurs that once ruled the earth have always been his favorite animals. Perhaps curiosity drives his fascination; the legends of extinct dinosaurs are especially captivating to him.

In Secret Realm No. 3 here, there is a parent-child party where kids can transform into dinosaurs.

At the start of the party, a fun clown uncle gives the children a wonderful performance. His juggling act, of course, is a must—throwing several bottles up simultaneously, always keeping Little Meatball spellbound.

Of course, balloons that Little Meatball loves are also available. The clown uncle is skilled at twisting long balloons into various shapes. As long as kids play games with him and pass his challenges, they can win these cute balloon rewards.

Next, under the host's direction, the children change into dinosaur costumes and start games.

Dressed in dinosaur outfits, the kids look even more adorable, their silly appearance instantly melting parents' hearts. Then, as long as the children win the games, they can receive prizes.

For Little Meatball, Secret Realm No. 3 is definitely a place he likes. There are many activities suitable for children here. Many projects use sound, light, shadow, or VR technology to let them travel to the Jurassic dinosaur world or dance as astronauts—very fun.

There are also mechanical rides kids love, like carousels and small pirate ships. Scaled-down amusement rides are more suitable for children. The fun castle has slides, ball pits, and various interesting facilities. For Little Meatball, it's definitely a great place to let loose!

In fact, Romance Park is not just about spectacular shows; there are also many interesting experiences worth trying.

Yangshuo Ancient Street is a replica ancient street in Romance Park. Walking along Yangshuo Ancient Street, the quaint specialty shops exude charm. Here, you can buy unique souvenirs and taste authentic Guilin cuisine.

The shop names are full of fun: "Auntie's Pickled Vegetable Shop," "Grandpa's Snack Shop," giving a strong sense of home.

Moreover, the ancient street is a great place for photography, where you can take beautiful, antique-style photos.

On Yangshuo Ancient Street, you can also encounter a flash mob of ethnic performances. Actors from Romance Park, dressed in ethnic costumes, appear on the street and perform folk dances, instantly filling the already lively street with even more joy.

At the end of the flash mob, actors invite tourists to dance together. Dancing traditional dances here is an interesting experience at Romance Park.

The sand here is fine; walking barefoot on it, the soft sand feels very comfortable.

In Guilin Romance Park, there is also Beach No. 4, a great place to spend time.

There are many interesting decorations on the beach. Whether playing with sand or taking beautiful photos, it's perfect.

Of course, besides Romance Park, Yangshuo has many other wonderful places not to be missed.

The Ten-Mile Gallery is a place that gathers Yangshuo's beautiful scenery. In this gallery, every step offers a view, every spot filled with nature's aura. To tour the Ten-Mile Gallery, rushing through might make you miss its beauty. Renting a bicycle and slowly riding, taking your time to look around, is undoubtedly the best way to explore.

Yangshuo's mountains are always delicate and captivating. The mountains scattered everywhere in the Ten-Mile Gallery each seem to have a unique charm. Nature's craftsmanship is fully displayed here.

Besides mountains, Yangshuo's waters are equally clear. The river flowing here seems to have a quiet quality. Although the water flows, amid these elegant mountains, there is a sense of tranquility. The best way to explore Yulong River is definitely by bamboo raft. Sitting on a bamboo raft and drifting on the Yulong River, the scenery on both banks unfolds like a slide show of beautiful pictures. On the ancient Yulong River, with green mountains on both sides and flowing water, the bamboo rafts add a dynamic and lively touch to the ink painting.

Xingping Ancient Town's earliest history dates back to the Three Kingdoms period. Today, it still retains its antique charm. Here, you can see streets paved with stone slabs, exuding a quiet atmosphere. The buildings in Xingping Ancient Town also have an old flavor—green bricks and black tiles create a serene beauty. Most shops along the street now sell local products or are restaurants. Unlike West Street, there is no noisy hawking here; shop owners quietly wait for customers, which itself becomes a beautiful scene.

Besides mountains, rivers, and ancient towns, Yangshuo now offers many fun activities to experience and enjoy. In big cities, driving is always cautious. If you want to experience speed thrills or the wildness of cars, the go-karts and off-road vehicles here are worth trying. Go-karts have very low chassis, making close-to-ground racing exciting with strong torque and a sense of speed. Off-road vehicles can traverse mountains and race along riverbeds. Hearing the engine roar and feeling the off-road fun is very enjoyable.

Every time I bring Little Meatball to Yangshuo, there are always different surprises and unique charms. Yangshuo's beauty lies in its mountains and waters, as well as its tranquility and comfort. Taking Little Meatball to see a show, experiencing the charm of the landscape here—this is our natural garden.
