Summer, summer, quietly passes, leaving little secrets... This summer, did you leave any little secrets?

Is there anything you want to share?

This summer, our family's trip is worth sharing and remembering~~

First, there was planning the trip, busy making itineraries, booking tickets and rooms, packing luggage—busy and happy.

Next, we started our family of three's trip to Yangshuo:

DAY 1.

Dragging our luggage, we rushed to the high-speed train station, everyone dripping with sweat. Luckily, we caught the train to Guilin. It was already past 7 pm when we arrived at Guilin North Station. We went straight to the hotel to drop off our luggage, then went out to find food~~

After eating and drinking our fill, we returned to the hotel to bathe the kid and put him to sleep... Only then did I realize that the so-called trip is just taking the kid to a different place T-T

The next morning, we went to eat Guilin rice noodles. Look! Guilin rice noodles look like this—have you tried them?

After eating, we took a taxi to Elephant Trunk Hill. Elephant Trunk Hill should be the most iconic attraction in Guilin. Before, my impression of Guilin was just Elephant Trunk Hill and the Li River.

Elephant Trunk Hill Park ticket: 55 RMB. Children under 1.2 meters free.

The park mainly has attractions such as Water Moon Cave, Elephant Trunk Rock, Elephant Eye Rock, Puxian Pagoda, Yunfeng Temple, and Stupa.

Elephant Trunk Hill, originally named Li Hill, is composed of pure limestone deposited on the seabed 360 million years ago. It looks like a giant elephant stretching its trunk to drink from the river, standing quietly on the Li River for hundreds of millions of years.

We spent about 2 hours at Elephant Trunk Hill Park, then went for lunch. After lunch, we went back to the hotel for a nap—it's not easy traveling with a kid.

At 5 pm, we set off for the famous Two Rivers and Four Lakes, taking a boat tour to see the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas. Lush green trees, emerald lake water reflecting the inverted images of the twin pagodas—this is a static beauty.

We wandered for about an hour and a half, then went to East-West Alley for dinner.

DAY 2.

Our plan for today was to take a boat from Guilin down the Li River to Yangshuo.

We took a taxi to Mopan Mountain Pier, then picked up tickets and boarded the boat. We bought a third-class boat ticket for 215 RMB, which included the scenic area ticket and boat fare.

The boat cruised along the Li River, and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Guilin's mountains and waters all the way. The crystal-clear Li River, the continuous green mountains on both sides, layered and varied in shape, vying for beauty—so magnificent. The beauty of Guilin unfolded before our eyes, making us feel relaxed and happy.

At noon, we had lunch in Yangshuo. The restaurant was good; we ordered beer fish, roast goose, and stir-fried tea tree mushrooms—tasty.

After lunch, we went back to the inn for a nap...

In the afternoon, we went cycling along the Yulong River~~ Riding my little electric scooter, I'll take you to see the Yulong River...

We rented an electric scooter in Yangshuo town for 50 RMB, followed the navigation along National Highway 321, and toured the Ten-Mile Gallery. Along the way, we saw countless peaks—truly a forest of thousands of peaks. We saw Butterfly Spring, Big Banyan Tree, Yulong River... No filter needed; every spot was beautiful. My phone kept taking pictures nonstop.

After visiting the Ten-Mile Gallery, we turned back. On the left side of the bridge after the Workers' and Peasants' Bridge area, there is a small road that goes along the Yulong River for cycling.

So we cycled along this small road. The scenery along the way was so beautiful it was overwhelming—a feast for the eyes.

Riding the electric scooter among the forests and by the river was cool and comfortable. I didn't want to go back, haha.

We saw a dam, stopped, and got off to play in the water.

So much fun, haha~~

In the evening, we strolled on West Street...

West Street was so lively, oh ho~

DAY 3.

Ruyi Peak Scenic Area is located beside National Highway 321, Meng Village, Gaotian Town, Yangshuo County.

Ticket: 260 RMB. Online price: 240 RMB (Meituan, Dianping).

Children's ticket: 130 RMB.

Includes: cable car roundtrip, Ruyi Suspension Bridge, Ruyi Cloud Summit, Cloud Walkway, Glass Bridge.

1. Overlook Yangshuo from the high-altitude cable car.

2. Instagram-worthy spots: Ruyi Suspension Bridge and Glass Bridge.

3. 360° viewing platform at Ruyi Cloud Summit, offering infinite views of the peak forest.

Silver Rock is located beside National Highway 321, Maling Town, Lipu City, only a few kilometers from Ruyi Peak. So after visiting Ruyi Peak, we went to Silver Rock. After climbing the mountain, it's perfect to cool down in the cave!

Ticket: 65 RMB. Online price: 58 RMB. Children's ticket: 33 RMB.

"Visit Silver Rock, and you'll never lack money for life."

I hope so, haha!

Silver Rock is a typical karst landform. The entire cave penetrates twelve peaks, gathering stalactites from different geological ages. It looks like the Milky Way tilting down from the night sky, shimmering like silver.

1. Silver Rock is a multi-layered cave, including the lower cave, the great hall, and the upper cave.

2. There are dozens of special attractions, with the "three wonders" of Musical Stone Screen, Fairyland Yaochi, and Snow Mountain Waterfall, and the "three treasures" of Buddha Preaching, Single Pillar Supporting the Sky, and Mixed Element Pearl Umbrella.

After getting the tickets, the staff gave each of us a free audio guide at the entrance. Return it after visiting. Be sure to keep it safe, or you'll have to pay compensation.

Okay, introduction done. Now take a look at the beautiful pictures~~

After visiting Silver Rock in the afternoon, we still stayed at West Street in the evening, because it's convenient for food. The family hotel we stayed at was pretty good. The bathroom was as big as a room, with two shower rooms on the left—nice.

On the last day, we took a bus from Yangshuo to Xingping Ancient Town, then took the high-speed train back from Xingping Town. The trip ended perfectly.
