Flower Sea in Full Bloom — Sanqianli

Guangzhou South does not have a direct train to Yangshuo. First go from Guangzhou South to Guilin North, which takes about 3 hours, then transfer from Guilin North to Yangshuo Station. The transfer journey is about 0.5 hours. Once at Yangshuo Station, it's not far from Sanqianli, and the scenic area also provides a pick-up service.

If you find the transfer troublesome, if you are relatively close, you can choose to drive. Driving from Guangzhou to the Sanqianli hotel takes about 6 hours, and the toll fee is a little over ¥200.

There are many unique guesthouses within the Sanqianli scenic area, themed around Zhuang brocade, flowers, and Li River fishing culture. There are even boat houses that extend onto the riverbank, quite interesting.

Huajianji is themed on flowers, with floral decorations inside and many flowers outside. You can even enjoy the flowers while soaking in the bathtub.

The room's balcony overlooks the Dayuan River inside the scenic area. Sitting on the balcony drinking tea, you can take in the mountains and waters of Yangshuo.

There is a music restaurant also called Huajianji inside the scenic area, with a strong artistic atmosphere. It has both outdoor and indoor seating. Outdoor seats offer views of Yangshuo's landscape for dining and gatherings, while indoor seats provide a more artistic and romantic experience, with warm yellow lights hanging from the ceiling and natural floral decorations.

Strolling through flower gardens and walking in the flower sea feels like entering a dream from Tagore's poems. You can also take the Sanqianli train, traveling through the flower sea. The sound of the whistle gives a feeling of traveling through time.

This swimming pool is also a spot to photograph the background of the 20 yuan note, where the show "Youth Travels" has checked in.

The Dayuan River in the scenic area offers water recreation projects, such as kayaking, for close contact with Yangshuo's waters.

When you come to Yangshuo, you must take a bamboo raft. The clear water and green mountains, with reflections, make you feel as if you are floating on the blue waves while traveling in a painting.

Sanqianli occasionally holds large events. Timing your vacation can unlock unexpected surprises, like the summer intangible heritage fireworks festival, where molten iron fireworks and exploding fireworks complement each other to create a beautiful nighttime spectacle.

Inside the scenic area, there are many cultural performance projects. Performers dressed in ethnic costumes use the entire scenic area as a stage, singing and dancing anytime, anywhere.

There is also a calligraphy experience called "Xizixianchao" where you can wear Hanfu and enjoy the fun of ancient calligraphy like the ancients.

DAY2-Park3 First Experience of Round Fan

Qiu Guangchu round fans are a representative of Guilin's traditional crafts. Round fans, also called palace fans or silk fans, are traditional Chinese crafts and artworks. The inheritance of Guilin's round fan handicraft originates from the perseverance of an old man from Lipu, Qiu Guangchu. Mr. Qiu Guangchu combined the local traditional bamboo craft of Maling to formulate a complete process flow, becoming the first creator of the round fan technique using a single bamboo to make the entire fan frame.

There is a round fan experience hall in the scenic area where you can not only admire and purchase extremely exquisite and beautiful round fans but also DIY to make your own round fan, which is very commemorative.

In addition, there are three exhibitions: Cao Ye's poetry exhibition, paper-cut exhibition, and photography exhibition. Visitors can visit according to personal preference, all free. The first cultural and creative base of the Guangxi Museum of Nationalities is also located in Sanqianli, showcasing the distinctive costumes, history, culture, and customs of Guangxi's 12 indigenous ethnic groups, as well as multiple series and hundreds of cultural and creative products, fully reflecting the unique Guangxi culture.

There is also a Fengwuji where the packaging of items is very special, suitable for souvenirs.
