Yangshuo Travel - This Journey Fulfilled a Wish

Traveling to Guangxi, on the first day I took a train to Guilin and along the way saw the scenery of Shangrao, a land of abundance and the gateway to Yuzhang, which had both similarities and differences with Yunnan's Shangri-La. On the second day in Guilin, I ate the famous Guilin snack, Laodongjiang Rice Noodles. The trip to Yangshuo was very smooth. On West Street in the ancient town, I, who had never fired a gun before, tried shooting a gun. The sound of the gunfire was very loud; I felt it was a kind of catharsis and really fun. I felt that after this catharsis, my illness was gone and I wouldn't get sick anymore. I even imagined experiencing the program where you can shoot targets and win prizes. On the third day, I went to take photos at the 20-yuan Li River background spot. The tour guide at the bus station took me to Xianggong Mountain, where I saw the magnificent great bend of the Li River, a view of two S-curves. On the fourth day, I went to Ten Li Gallery. The taxi driver helped me take a photo in front of Moon Hill. On the fifth day, I went to Yulong River. This was the happiest day of the entire trip. I hiked along the Yulong River from Fuli Bridge Pier to Shui'edi Pier, and then back to the hostel, walking over 30,000 steps. It was the first time in my life I walked over 20,000 steps by a river. I thought about how a full marathon is 42 kilometers, which is about 40,000-plus steps. Along the riverbank, I picked small tangerines to eat. The Libao water was very clear, the Li River scenery beautiful, and on both sides were continuous mountain peaks. Along the way, I could also pick small tangerines to eat, so I didn't need to buy water or food. It was a great trip for someone trying to lose weight. The riverbank had lush grass and trees, fields, and domestic fowl. The stretch to Shui'edi Pier could be called pastoral idyll. On the way back, I bought a cup of hot pear soup with rock sugar to drink. On the fifth day morning, I ate local Duihe Rice Noodles and bought a cup of K Coffee and sat on the hostel's viewing terrace to eat breakfast. It was also like the youth hostel in Yunnan. There were no exercise machines on the hostel terrace, so I did some body exercises on my own. In the afternoon, I went to Xingping Ancient Town. I felt it was a bit like the small shops in Xiamen. I pondered for a while at the 20-yuan spot. I returned to the hostel and chatted with the hostel owner and a girl who often travels alone. On the sixth day, I arrived at Yangshuo Railway Station in the evening. Outside the station, the continuous mountain peaks were shrouded in mist, very refreshing. It was also drizzling moderately. There were very few people at the station, and the scenery was quiet and refreshing. I took a night flight back. I arrived at the hostel almost 2 a.m. I stayed at the youth hostel. On the seventh day morning, I went for a walk on Binjiang Road. Before 9:30, many young people were exercising. The section of Binjiang Road on the way back was also very nice and cheerful. Everyone was relatively quiet. Around 5-6 p.m., I arrived home. If I have another chance in life, I will fly directly to Guilin, from the airport to Guilin Liangjiang Airport. Then I took the train from Guilin Railway Station to Yangshuo Railway Station, then bought a bus ticket from Yangshuo Railway Station to Yangshuo West Street. At West Street, I would play more activities, maybe also go to a bar. I would hike along Yulong River for a few more days and watch the Eternal Love scenic area.
