The Magical Journey to Turkey

1. Departure and Arrival

My journey to Turkey began at Shanghai Pudong Airport. After a long flight, I finally arrived at Istanbul Airport. The long flight was very tiring, but thinking of the upcoming journey, I was still excited.

2. Car Rental Trip

After arriving, I rented a car and started an 11-day self-driving tour. This trip included many cities and attractions. Although the distances were long, the scenery along the way helped me forget the fatigue.

3. Main Attractions

During these 11 days, I visited many famous attractions:

1. Istanbul: Visited Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, etc. The scenery of the Bosphorus Strait was breathtaking.

2. Cappadocia: Experienced a hot air balloon ride, overlooking the unique landscapes and cave dwellings.

3. Antalya: Enjoyed the beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean, visited the old town and Hadrian's Gate.

4. Pamukkale: Viewed the naturally formed travertine terraces and experienced the thermal baths.

4. Culinary Experience

Turkish cuisine was a bit hard for me to adapt to. Although kebabs, Turkish pizza, and various desserts are very famous, they were quite different from my usual eating habits. However, this is part of travel; trying new things is a special experience.

5. Cultural Impressions

Turkish culture is very different from my Buddhist background. The architecture of the mosques here is unique, and the religious customs and festivals are also very different from ours. This trip gave me a deeper understanding of different cultures and histories.

6. Natural Scenery

The landscapes of Turkey are very beautiful, especially the coastline. The sea is azure, the sun is bright, as if in a painting. Whether it's the rolling inland mountains or the sparkling seaside, they left a deep impression on me.

This trip to Turkey, though tiring, was very rewarding. The beautiful scenery, rich history, and unique culture made me reluctant to leave. Every day had new discoveries, every place had different surprises. I look forward to the next trip to explore this fascinating country again.
