Michelin Chinese Restaurant Hakkasan: A Feast for the Eyes and Palate

Hakkasan is widely recognized as one of London's most charming restaurants. Walking through the bustling Oxford Street, you'll find its understated entrance on a quiet street. As you descend the stairs, you gradually transition from day to night, or from night to an even more dramatic evening. The walls on both sides of the staircase are meticulously decorated, making every step feel like a scene from a movie.

Hakkasan breaks all the rules, redefining Chinese cuisine with flavors that excite the palate. Beyond the undeniably delicious taste, the dining environment is also commendable. The restaurant's decor is very stylish, with soft lighting and refined music creating a perfectly intimate atmosphere. It is not only suitable for formal business dinners but also perfect for couples or small gatherings with friends. This summer, Hakkasan has created a dreamy floral landscape, accompanied by tempting new dishes and creative cocktails, offering a feast for both the palate and the eyes.

Tender wagyu beef paired with soft but chewy rice noodles and crispy enoki mushrooms—this is far from an ordinary side dish.

The wagyu beef in this wagyu shumai comes from Warrendale Wagyu, an award-winning wagyu farm in Yorkshire, England, known for its excellent quality. This dish is available only on the Hakkasan in Bloom menu, which is dedicated to showcasing the flavors and charm of locally sourced ingredients.

Mapo tofu is a unique dish originating from Chengdu, Sichuan, China. It perfectly combines sweet, spicy, and numbing flavors, offering rich layers that linger in your memory.

This stir-fried rib-eye beef with lily flowers cleverly balances the richness of the beef with the refreshing taste of lily flowers, exuding a sense of homey warmth while feeling innovative.

This dish creatively offers a "two ways to enjoy the shrimp" concept. The succulent lobster meat is stir-fried with chive sauce, while alongside it is deep-fried lobster coated in crispy breadcrumbs, showcasing the superior quality of the ingredient.

Our "caviar" dessert has a captivating texture and rich chocolate flavor, paired with tonka bean ice cream for double the happiness.

A classic cocktail creation: Lychee Martini. Adding tropical sweetness to the traditional martini. Close your eyes while sipping and feel like you're in a rainforest paradise.

The Smoky Negroni is Hakkasan's signature cocktail, a classic reimagined with simple ingredients but profound flavor.

"Mistress of Deception" is a sweet and elegant cocktail that catches the eye. The hazy smoke adds a unique beauty—this is what a great cocktail should be: creative, fun, and delicious.

These are just some of my personal favorite dishes; words cannot fully express how stunning Hakkasan is. I highly recommend visiting in person to taste and experience it.
