Zhongdu Tang Street, the commercial companion area for the immersive night tour “Dream of the Western Chamber,”
presents the nation’s first-of-its-kind immersive market, “Great Tang Creations Market.”
Amid cheers and gong beats, the event reached its climax.
As the opening ceremony began,
the crowd’s enthusiasm was ignited again,
and the whole street became a sea of joy.
This newly built street market combines unique lighting, creative cultural products, live performances,
delicious food, and trendy shopping zones —
it’s now a must-visit “eat and stroll” spot for both locals and tourists.
A series of performances · Up on stage and down in the crowd, everyone let loose!
The highlight of the live show — Puzhou Opera — featured local actors and artists performing classic pieces. While audiences enjoyed the musical feast, they also shared the unique charm of Chinese culture with the world.
Beyond that, the entire street offered a rich feast for the senses with a variety of artistic styles and forms, giving visitors a colorful audio-visual experience.
You’ll also find performance artists dressed in different costumes and styles scattered throughout the area.
At the night market, there were wonderful ancient-style flash mob performances.
Actors clad in Han and Tang dynasty attire made surprise appearances among the stalls,
dancing gracefully to the music.
