1. Xining Caojiabao Airport (7/17 flight from Shanghai 9:00, arriving 12:30) -> Chaka Town (7/17 stay one night) -> Golmud City (7/18 stay one night) -> Dachaidan (7/19 stay one night) -> Dunhuang City (7/20~21 stay two nights) -> Jiayuguan City (7/22 stay one night) -> Zhangye City (7/23 stay one night) -> Xining Railway Station (originally scheduled to fly back to Shanghai on 7/24 at 20:50, but due to typhoon all flights were canceled, so we had to go to Lanzhou first to stay one night, then take a high-speed rail one-day trip back to Shanghai on 7/25);

2. The itinerary is as follows: the map only allows 5 waypoints, so we had to set the endpoint at Zhangye City and manually draw a line from Zhangye to Xining. The total distance is over 2300 km. Specific arrangements depend on the attractions, which are often hundreds of kilometers apart. Truly the vast Northwest.
