Créteil, a Peaceful Town on the Outskirts of Paris

📍 Paris · 👁 5002 reads · ❤️ 10 likes

Créteil is a small town next to Paris, a little over an hour’s drive from the city center. However, the upside is that hotels are cheap and there is rail transport. The whole town is very quiet. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops. But if your French isn’t great, it’s best to avoid the local buses. Many bus drivers refuse to speak English. Of course, the bus stops display accurate arrival times. The town is filled with birdsong and fragrant flowers, with birds visible everywhere. Staying here for a relaxing break is a great option if you get the chance.
