March Travels
What is travel?
'旅' is the journey—moving from one place to another in space to fulfill a purpose.
'游' is going out to sightsee, explore, and have fun—the journey made for those pleasures.
Together, they form '旅游' (tourism).
Travel emphasizes the movement; tourism includes not only moving but also sightseeing and entertainment.
March, the heart of spring. Perhaps it's time to put a few things on the agenda. After the hustle and bustle, indulge in a gentle break. And then you might ask yourself: Where do I want to go now?
Head to Tokyo. Tokyo may not boast grand ancient architecture or breathtaking natural scenery.
But once you dive into its streets and alleys, you'll never feel bored. Instead, you'll be amazed by how traditional shrines and buildings blend organically with skyscrapers; how greenery and rivers pop up in busy city centers; how museums, art galleries, and shopping malls merge, weaving culture, art, and technology right into daily life.
On top of that, there's world-class contemporary architecture, Ginza—one of the world's three great shopping districts—and iconic sights straight out of Japanese dramas: Tokyo Tower, the Rainbow Bridge at Odaiba, the scramble crossing in Shibuya. And let's not forget the dazzling night scenery, among the best in Japan and the world.
As you travel, why not slow down?
With a mood of tenderly cherishing life and time, step into some of Tokyo's soothing, heartwarming little shops.

Then go to Paris. Paris, the capital of the French Republic, lies in the north of France at the center of the Paris Basin, straddling the Seine River.
Beyond the famed Champs-Élysées and Eiffel Tower, French romance is scattered in countless little details. Unlike the self-empowered beauty that Women Travel Network embraces, the beauty of France is free-spirited and whimsical.
Paris is divided into inner and greater Paris. Inner Paris covers the city within the ring road, with an area of 105.4 square kilometers and a population of over two million. Greater Paris includes the seven surrounding departments—Hauts-de-Seine, Val-de-Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis, Yvelines, Val-d'Oise, Seine-et-Marne, and Essonne—spanning 12,000 square kilometers with around ten million people.
As a fashion capital, Paris is not only home to major international brands; just wander into any street-side boutique and you'll find all kinds of novel little treasures—glasses, hair accessories, clothing—each piece a work of art.
So, are you tempted?
Travel is the best investment for girls.
As March begins, Women Travel Network hopes your eyes hold stars and oceans.
Go see Tokyo and Paris, and then take the scenic route through mountains and seas.
Wait by the shore for sunset, for sunrise, for the starry sky.
