I usually love shopping, but this year, aside from commuting to work, I've hardly gone out. I heard that many brands at the department store are having end-of-season sales with great deals, so I decided to go on a shopping spree at Myeongdong Shinsegae Department Store. Sure enough, the end-of-season promotions were very nice. Brands I had been eyeing for a long time but couldn't bring myself to buy were also part of the sale, and I was overjoyed. Let's follow me to see which big brands are discounted at Myeongdong Shinsegae Department Store and whether they are worth buying.

As soon as I entered Myeongdong Shinsegae Department Store, I headed straight to the new building's 3rd floor, because on the 3rd floor are APC, rag & bone, N21, Maje, and Sandro, a few brands I really like. The best thing at that moment was that the brands I wanted to buy were all on sale! Basically, they were offering 20-30% off. The regular prices of clothes from these brands are not cheap, so it was a rare chance to get a discount. I was secretly thrilled, feeling like I had scored a great deal.

I first went to the Sandro counter. As a serious office worker, I need to have several high-quality formal outfits in my wardrobe. This brand's style suits my needs well, and the designs are not old-fashioned but quite stylish. Especially with this 20% discount, the sale runs from the 4th of this month until February 28th next year, lasting nearly three months. If you have shopping plans during this period, you can learn more about it.

Last time I went shopping, I had my eye on this suit from them. It's a green and black check pattern, made of wool blend fabric, with faint gold threads visible in the material. The style is sharp and capable, and it feels quite warm. I especially praise the A-line skirt, which makes legs look very slim. Wearing the whole set looks very formal, with a Chanel-style elegance and maturity. The little jacket and skirt can also be paired separately with other clothes. For example, after I bought it, I wore the skirt with a sweatshirt and the jacket with jeans. As an urban office worker, I can instantly switch to a casual look. Buying the suit allows you to try multiple styles—I love it.

This color also comes in a dress style, which is shown in the picture below. It's very flattering to the figure, with a V-neck that subtly reveals the collarbone. However, I have a little belly, so wearing a dress tends to expose my waist fat. If you're interested, you can give it a try.

After finishing at Sandro, my next target was to buy a bag. I had seen a fringe bag at Maje before and really liked it, so I went to check their store. Sure enough, it was also on sale. The promotion also started on December 4th, with a 20% discount. Let me show you the details of this bag. It's all black, with fringe on both sides. Black can be a bit dull, but the fringe adds a youthful and fashionable touch without being too flashy, so it's suitable for work.

On the handle of the bag, there is the brand's logo, which is quite distinctive.

The shoulder strap is detachable. When I don't feel like holding it, I can attach the strap and wear it crossbody, which is also comfortable. The hardware looks good quality. With the 20% discount, the price is 449,000 Korean won.

After buying the bag, I came across the brand Berenice, which I had been intrigued by recently. I've been watching the Korean drama "The Tale of the Nine Tailed" and noticed the actors' clothes looked great. I looked it up and found out they were from Berenice, and I happened to stumble upon it. Inside the store, I saw there was also a 20% discount. Sisters who follow Korean fashion trends may know that fluffy lamb wool coats have been very popular in Korea recently. However, cheaper brands have a high chance of people wearing the same style, so I hadn't bought one. Then I saw this one! The original price was 1,890,000 Korean won. Previously I thought at this price I might as well buy a Canada Goose, but the discounted price was 1,512,000 Korean won. The fabric is high-quality wool, fluffy and soft to the touch, very comfortable. You get what you pay for, and its warmth is similar to down jackets, so I bit the bullet and bought it.

The solid color is simple and sharp. There are two large pockets on the front for storing phones, wallets, and other essentials—very practical.

Finally, I stopped by APC and bought this denim bag. During the years I've worked in Korea, I've noticed that Korean girls really love carrying these large canvas bags—they hold a lot, are durable, and easy to match. The key is they make you look younger. Carrying one makes me feel like a college student again. This APC bag is not canvas but pure denim fabric, which is more durable. It comes in two sizes: large and small. The large is 139,000 Korean won, and the small is 119,000 Korean won. I bought the large one.

The logo on the front has a clever design: the 'A' is flipped upside down, making it quite eye-catching. It's perfect for everyday use—shopping or going to the supermarket—and can be used all year round.

Inside, there is a small pocket for tissues, coins, and other small items.

Alright, shopping spree over, heading back home. After coming out of Myeongdong Shinsegae Department Store, I sorted through my haul. Sure enough, when there's a sale, my wallet gets hurt! But buying my favorite items means it's a bittersweet happiness.
