Summer is the perfect time for a vacation! Korea has opened a massive new-generation entertainment resort, similar to Macau's Sands Resort or Studio City, but newly opened in 2024, gathering top-notch entertainment and resort experiences—truly a dream destination for Korean entertainment culture!

Below, a guide to explore it all—Korea's Incheon INSPIRE Resort!

Located on Yeongjong Island in Incheon, Korea, the INSPIRE Resort is the 8th commercial operation project fully invested by Mohegan, a global top-tier integrated entertainment resort developer and operator. Since its opening in 2024, it has become a benchmark for Korea's new generation of entertainment resorts. It is a 15-minute drive from Incheon International Airport, a 1-hour drive from Seoul city center, and only a 90-minute flight from major Northeast Asian cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Tokyo, with a flight time of about 4 hours from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. The resort also offers multiple free shuttle buses to and from Incheon Airport and Seoul, making transportation very convenient.

Aurora Way, Aurora Cube, Rotunda Lobby Chandelier, INSPIRE Arena, Le Space, INSPIRE Wonders

An immersive entertainment block comparable to a surreal world, well worth visiting! Located in the central area of the INSPIRE Resort, the 150-meter-long Aurora Way stretches from the south end of the resort through the rotunda lobby to the entrance of the INSPIRE Arena.

From 8:30 AM to midnight, a 25-meter-high ceiling covered with giant LED screens showcases four different themed content continuously through cutting-edge spatial digital art, delivering a stunning visual and auditory experience every moment!

The "Space Odyssey" performance takes the audience on a deep and romantic alien journey, with stars, planets, wormholes, and mysterious cosmic creatures evoking awe and excitement; "African Savanna" creates a magical summer night atmosphere, with the blazing red sun over the savanna harmoniously blending with vibrant wildlife; "Under the Blue" displays a giant humpback whale swimming freely in a dynamic underwater landscape 150 meters long and 25 meters high, the mystery of the blue world forever captivating; "Starry Forest" presents a serene and lush green world with lively bird sounds, showcasing endless vitality.

Besides taking photos in the block, I highly recommend ordering a signature cocktail at the AURORA BAR on Aurora Way and leisurely enjoying the light and shadow masterpieces before you~

The entrance to Aurora Way—Aurora Cube—is also transformed into a bright and dazzling "crystal palace" by massive LED screens. Riding the escalators up and down, you can admire the grand palace, exquisite arches, and domes, making you feel as if you've stepped into a mysterious realm from a sci-fi book.

Passing through Aurora Way, you arrive at the rotunda lobby, where your eyes are immediately drawn to a massive dynamic LED chandelier. During showtimes, the chandelier layers or combines, displaying various digital art pieces with dynamism. This is also the entrance to the INSPIRE Arena, Korea's first multi-functional indoor performance venue, which boasts an impressive resume!

The INSPIRE Arena has 15,000 seats, thoughtfully and conveniently designed. The top-notch lighting, audio, and video systems, along with backstage areas, dressing rooms, and changing rooms, can support stage performances by K-pop and global pop artists. Major events are held almost every month. The 2023 Melon Music Awards (MMA), Maroon 5 concerts, TVXQ's 20th-anniversary concert, and SBS Gayo Daejeon have all taken place here!

The Star Wall is not just a spot for celebrities to check in~~ On November 23 this year, the internationally renowned band Westlife will also hold a concert here. Tickets are already on sale, and they might check in here too!

If you've never experienced a "journey of light," the interactive media art exhibition Le Space at the INSPIRE Resort might leave you amazed by the creative digital world of light!

Le Space is an innovative exhibition space of over 6,000 square meters created by the high-end media art exhibition brand Hyundai FutureNet, based on the concept of "Beyond the Universe." It is currently the largest interactive media art exhibition in Korea. The 18 rooms in the exhibition space use new media production techniques such as LED, holographic imaging, motion, fog, laser, and interactivity, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in a galaxy journey of time and space.

For example, in one space—"Imagine"—the walls display fantastical creatures from imagination, and the room's camera system captures visitors' movements, making the screen's protagonists dance along. In the "Emotion" space, brilliant sparks respond to visitors' expressions—I received mysterious purple fireworks.

The innovation of the exhibition also lies in the unique aromatherapy scents corresponding to each theme in different spaces. In the "Volcanic" space, I was not only shocked by the boiling volcano, lava, sparks, and thick fog but also ignited by the faint, hot, slightly burnt smell in the air. In the "Colorful Forest" space, the colorful forest and lively animals perfectly matched the fresh fragrance, and I bought the same scent after the visit~

Leaving Le Space, you can head to the resort's large retail area to explore six themed collections of INSPIRE Wonders creative art pieces: Mind, Space, Motion, Time, Light, and Petals. Perhaps when you encounter the "Wonders," you might also inspire your own "new perspectives."

Splash Bay Water Park, Vaunce The First Indoor Playground

Water play is definitely a top choice for family vacations! The INSPIRE Resort's nearly 10,000-square-meter Splash Bay Water Park is full of tropical vibes. It is a year-round indoor domed water park, so even in the snowy winter, the park maintains a refreshing, hot summer atmosphere no matter how cold it is outside!

The park features a lazy river, lift pool, water kingdom, kids' spin zone, children's water play area, sun loungers, and more. The central DJ area has a movable floor pool with adjustable depth. During the day, it's a happy, lively family playground; at night, it transforms into an exotic, dreamy entertainment world with DJ parties, movie screenings, pool camping, and more (depending on special event schedules).

After water play, kids can enjoy the Vaunce The First multi-functional indoor playground, playing various arcade games, sandbox games, or trying trampolines, rock climbing, zip lines, tube jumps, and tube slides—facilities that help develop physical skills, letting kids burn off energy to their heart's content.

Oasis Food Village, Ying Shi Xuan, MJ23 Sports Bar

For a unique international food court, head to the Oasis Food Village in the resort. Covering about 3,500 square meters, it features 6 restaurants with 1,000 seats. Enjoy global cuisine while surrounded by a water oasis centered around the mythical "World Tree" and a Hong Kong-style neon sign district—bibimbap, handmade burgers, American pizza, Beijing noodles, Japanese bento, and hot pot dishes—really triggering my decision paralysis again~

Jordan's Steakhouse is a renowned, unique high-end steakhouse already popular in Chicago. The INSPIRE Resort houses its first overseas branch after success in North America. The restaurant aims to elevate the classic steak experience to a kingly level worthy of the name "Michael Jordan." Steak lovers, come and verify!

The restaurant's professional sommelier recommends pairing wines with dishes—the tomahawk steak and filet mignon with Pinot Noir are excellent choices~~

Cantonese cuisine enthusiasts can also encounter Michelin-level surprises at the INSPIRE Resort! The head chef of Ying Shi Xuan, the resort's only refined Cantonese restaurant, is a renowned chef who previously worked at Korea's only Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant!

Ying Shi Xuan's dishes are classic Cantonese creations made from high-quality ingredients: black truffle roasted Peking duck, crispy roasted Iberico pork belly, Singaporean chili crab, Hong Kong-style clay pot chicken with ginger and scallion, truffle sauce mushroom and spinach tofu, wasabi salad shrimp balls, traditional broth Buddha jumps over the wall, scallop and king crab meat egg white fried rice, Boston lobster dumplings, black truffle siu mai, and more—each one bursting with color, aroma, and taste!

For evening leisure, I recommend the MJ23 Sports Bar, where you can enjoy food while watching sports events—this is also the bar designer's tribute to Jordan and service to guests!

The restaurant is filled with photos of Jordan, co-branded sneakers, and classic quotes. It is equipped with the latest TV systems to watch global sports events and programs. The menu features various juicy burgers, wings, and draft beers, and the bar offers free self-serve table games—perfect for enjoying the games~

The resort also offers a range of specialty dining: an open-kitchen buffet, the French-style restaurant 1783, a farm-to-table garden restaurant, the Hong Pan Zhong Chinese restaurant serving dim sum and traditional Chinese dishes, Minagi Japanese cuisine, and the Hi-Fi retro concept restaurant with fried chicken and beer—all worth trying one by one.

Hui Ying Tower, Cui Lin Tower, Hai Yang Tower

The three high-end five-star hotel towers at the INSPIRE Resort—Hui Ying Tower, Cui Lin Tower, and Hai Yang Tower—were all designed by world-renowned companies, offering over 1,200 rooms. Each hotel has its own exclusive lounge, and every room overlooks the charming natural scenery of Yeongjong Island.

In Hui Ying Tower, you feel as if bathed in warm sunlight. The rooms blend different shades of stone and wood harmoniously, along with custom artworks, creating a powerful and colorful visual effect. The mini-bar is stocked with high-quality wines from famous regions—I was very satisfied, haha~~

Cui Lin Tower is especially suitable for families, showcasing the ease and vitality of natural ecology. Warm orange and refreshing ocean blue create a homey atmosphere in the rooms.

Business travelers are recommended to choose Hai Yang Tower, which connects to the banquet facilities with a separate entrance. The rooms feature marble desks, multi-functional side tables, and leather sofas, exuding an elite business ambiance.

The resort also offers many other highlights, including a shopping mall over 50,000 square meters, a spa operated by the world-renowned brand "V SPA," a fitness center with various equipment from top brand "Matrix," and an indoor pool with sauna and massage pool. Stay tuned for more detailed introductions after I explore again~!
