Want to check Jay Chou's friend circle? Follow the J-Style Trip to travel around Singapore!
Idols come and go, but Jay Chou is one of a kind.
Recently, 41-year-old Jay Chou launched his own personal variety show "J-Style Trip", which premiered simultaneously on Netflix, Zhejiang Satellite TV, and Mango TV. This is a new type of global outdoor lifestyle cultural reality show, themed around one song, one city, one story, and a group of old friends, showcasing the real daily life of Jay Chou and his friends traveling.
Perhaps sensing that we are suffering from a drama drought while stuck at home, Jay Chou is bringing his new reality show "J-Style Trip" to us.
Want to know how Jay Chou hangs out with his friends in private? Then let's take a look!
Nowadays, young people may be able to dodge the dimensional reduction strike of "Guo Yan Guo Yu" (Guo's words and phrases), or ignore terms like "hao heng" (arrogant) and "857" (a slang for partying).
However, when the meme "Little guy, do you have many questions?" starts playing, I believe everyone will unconsciously be pulled back to those years when we looped "Listen to Mom's Song"!
In the first episode, Jay Chou used "Listen to Mom's Song" as the theme, gathered his friends, makeup artist Du Guozhang, friends Chen Guanlin and Cai Weize, and came to JJ Lin's home turf, Singapore, eating and touring around Singapore.
Taking the opportunity to find JJ Lin's wax figure, Jay Chou and his group invited the episode's special guest—JJ Lin.
Du Guozhang was about to take a photo with JJ Lin's "wax figure", when unexpectedly the "wax figure" suddenly sang a line "If you don't love me, then forget it~" which gave him quite a scare.
The Madame Tussauds Singapore is located on beautiful Sentosa Island. As the second celebrity wax museum in Southeast Asia, it covers an area of 2,500 square meters and displays more than 60 celebrity wax figures, including political figures, athletes, Hollywood stars, and domestic and international singers.
The wax museum is divided into the Spirit of Singapore boat ride, "Images of Singapore LIVE", and the Marvel 4D Cinema. All the familiar and beloved stars are here, making it a great place to take photos.
In the show, JJ Lin transformed from a "walking CD" into a "walking tour guide", and at the beginning, he took everyone to check out the infinity pool at Marina Bay Sands.
The most famous feature of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore is undoubtedly the infinity pool on the 57th floor. It is three times the length of an Olympic pool, at a height of 650 feet (198 meters), making it the world's largest outdoor pool at this height.
As the world's largest transparent pool, you can take in the entire Singapore skyline while swimming. The borderless design is the most breathtaking aspect of this outdoor pool. At first glance, the pool seems to be built at the edge of the world, where the water meets the sky, with no guardrails, no boundaries, as if a waterfall is plunging down from the "border". If you keep swimming toward the "waterfall", you might feel as if you're about to rush off the 55th-floor rooftop—exciting, isn't it?
When the hotel first opened, it became famous and popular because of this rooftop infinity pool. Many tourists even stayed at the hotel for one night just to see the infinity pool. So if you go to Singapore, you must check out the infinity pool at the Marina Bay Sands and experience the feeling of enjoying a panoramic view of the city from a sky-high pool.
In the second episode, Jay Chou, JJ Lin, and other friends visited the S.E.A. Aquarium on Sentosa. "Magic Zhou" appeared, performing a "teleportation trick" at the aquarium. The missing corner of the "Jack of Hearts" card surprisingly appeared on a coral reef on the other side of the glass, drawing a chorus of "wow" from fans.
After the magic trick, the old friend group also encountered the "fish version of JJ Lin".
Actually, in Singapore, the S.E.A. Aquarium is considered the largest aquarium in Southeast Asia and a must-visit attraction when traveling to Singapore. Here you can observe marine life up close.
The aquarium has up to 50 ecological zones, housing over 100,000 marine animals from more than 1,000 species. The strange and varied underwater creatures are a feast for the eyes.
The aquarium also features interactive discovery pools where you can touch starfish and other creatures. You can also peer through rock crevices to catch a glimpse of moray eels, or go to view the underwater reef groups. It's definitely a great place to get up close and personal with marine life!
The most thrilling part was the go-kart racing competition in Singapore. Jay Chou, JJ Lin, and friends staged a real-life "Fast & Furious" at the Singapore go-kart track.
"From zero to a hundred kilometers, who dares to compete with me? I use first person to drift through youth..." As a racing enthusiast, 15 years ago, Jay Chou played a drifting expert in the movie "Initial D". And JJ Lin, who loves speed, even obtained a professional racing license in his spare time.
The battle between JJ and Jay was about to begin!
The fourth stop in Singapore was the Night Safari. The staff each brought an owl and a binturong for Jay Chou to interact with.
This zoo is different from ordinary night zoos with lighting, nor is it the kind of modern nocturnal exhibit you can see in other zoos around the world.
Riding on the tram, all the wild animals, including tigers, black bears, and flamingos, have no fences, giving a fresh and thrilling feeling of close contact with animals, an experience hard to get from visiting caged animals in ordinary zoos.
Of course, a trip to Singapore also includes everyone's favorite food segment: Bak Kut Teh, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Fried Kway Teow, etc. Just looking at them makes your mouth water!
