Let me tell you quietly, Anshun's 'Flame Mountain' is here in colorful attire!

The Flaming Mountain in Xinjiang is well-known, but little does one know that in this land of Anshun, there is also its own 'Flame Mountain.' This is the only remaining primeval forest and natural botanical garden in the Anshun area. In late autumn, the 'Flame Mountain' is covered with red leaves all over the hills, looking like fire from a distance, quite spectacular, hence the name.

PART 01 An Appointment with Autumn

Late autumn has arrived, and the landscape is gradually changing. The scenery of autumn has arrived on schedule, and 'Flame Mountain' comes in colorful attire. In autumn, 'Flame Mountain' is dyed in layers of forests. Up close, the forests and grasses are dense, with trees, shrubs, vines, and grasses clearly layered, and rare plants under national second- and third-level protection are hidden everywhere. Viewed from afar, thousands of trees are packed together, red, yellow, and green competing for attention, just like colorful watercolor paintings. When 'Flame Mountain' is all red, it is truly stunning.

The mountain roads here are winding, surrounded by lush forests. On a clear day, warm sunlight filters through the trees from the sky, making the colors of 'Flame Mountain' even more vivid. Walking in the forest of 'Flame Mountain,' clear streams slowly flow by, and birds chirp from time to time in the woods. Being in it, it feels as if time has slowed down, and everything is so beautiful.

PART 02 Autumn's Whispers

In June 1993, 'Flame Mountain' was designated as a scenic area by the People's Government of Puding County. Now is the season when the maple leaves on Flame Mountain are in full bloom, and the autumn whispers of Flame Mountain are waiting for you.

The maple leaves inside 'Flame Mountain' have put on red dresses, blooming one after another. When the wind passes, they fall. Looking up at the sight, one is intoxicated.

'Flame Mountain' is the best-preserved primitive vegetation community in Guizhou Province. The forest coverage rate of Fenglin Village, where it is located, reaches 89.37%, making it the village with the highest forest coverage in Pingshang Township, Puding County. The air is particularly fresh and the ecological environment is excellent, making it a great place for tourists to enjoy autumn scenery.

At 'Flame Mountain,' the main scenic spots include Fenglin Village, Turtle Mountain, Flame Mountain, Maple Stream, and Cloud Mountain. Navigate to Fenglin Village to reach the scenic area, and currently, there is no admission fee.

This is a unique beauty of Anshun, not to be missed in late autumn. However, since this is a primeval forest, be sure to pay attention to safety while visiting.
