The Indian Heritage Centre is located in the heart of the Little India community – on Campbell Lane. This four-story building houses five permanent exhibitions, featuring permanent galleries, special exhibition galleries, and educational and event spaces, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and history of Singapore's Indian community.
The exhibits in the museum tell the story of Indians in Singapore from the 19th century to the present, showing how Indian culture came here, how it interacted with other cultures, and how it shaped Little India as it is today. Here, you can gain a maximum understanding of the cultural characteristics that can only be seen in India.
In addition, you can find silk saris, gold jewelry, as well as trinkets, silverware, handicrafts, and other collectibles, along with various goods from India, fully reflecting the multiculturalism of the local Indian community.
