📍 Singapore · 👁 1688 reads

Whether you're with that special someone, your children, or alone, a beautiful sunset always brings satisfaction. And most of the time you don't have to spend a cent to enjoy the beautiful view. Little Journey has brought you some places in Singapore with the best sunset views that are absolutely worth a visit.

Tuas Link Lighthouse (Free)

The westernmost lighthouse in Singapore, located at Raffles Marina Club, very close to Nanyang Technological University. Its Chinese name is "Johor Strait Lighthouse". Standing 12 meters tall on the vast strait shore, it provides illumination for boats entering and leaving the marina.

The lighthouse is a popular spot for photography groups. It is considered one of the most ideal and unique venues for wedding photography and nautical-themed weddings.

The most anticipated part of the trip is climbing to the top of the lighthouse, which has a total of 88 steps. On the platform before reaching the summit, there is a dark green cylindrical oil tank, a relic of history used to store pressurized kerosene from 1905 to 1968, when the lighthouse's light source was powered by kerosene. From there, climb up the steep cast-iron ladder to reach the very top of the lighthouse.

Arriving around 6:30 PM is the best time to watch the sunset. You can see many people setting up their cameras along the roadside, ready to capture the evening sun. At night, the scenery here is equally romantic. Soak in the beautiful sunset, feel the sea breeze, and enjoy the tranquil beauty!

Opening hours: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily.
