[Singapore, July 6, 2023] Today, as a globally leading independently operated, multi-brand hotel group, Banyan Group is pleased to announce that, with the grand openings in mid-2023 of Angsana Ho Tram and Dhawa Ho Tram in Vietnam, and Folio Shinsaibashi Osaka and Homm Stay Yumiha Okinawa in Japan, the group has officially reached the milestone of opening its 70th property worldwide.
The addition of these new hotels will further enhance Banyan Group's presence in global destinations, better fulfilling its commitment to providing travelers with exceptional experiences. In charming Vietnam, the dual-brand property of Angsana Ho Tram and Dhawa Ho Tram, combining comfort and luxury, will offer guests a travel experience infused with local Vietnamese hospitality. This also marks the group's strategic expansion in Vietnam's gateway destinations following the renowned Laguna Banyan Tree and Laguna Angsana resorts. The highly anticipated Angsana Quan Lan is also expected to open its doors in 2024.
The openings of Folio Shinsaibashi Osaka and Homm Stay Yumiha Okinawa in Japan mark another significant milestone for the group: the debut of the group's new focused hotel brands, including the Folio and Homm extended brands. These two hotels are also new brand entries into Japan following the openings of Dhawa Yura Kyoto and Garrya Nijo Castle Kyoto last year. In addition, the Banyan Tree Higashiyama Kyoto, Banyan Tree Lake Ashi Hakone, and the Cassia Niseko ski resort will open successively, continuously enriching Banyan Group's brand portfolio in Japan. In particular, the focused hotels under the Folio brand will open in more gateway cities and city centers in the coming years.
Eddy See, President and CEO of Banyan Group, said: "This summer, the group proudly launched its 70th property worldwide in Japan, marking an exciting chapter in Banyan Group's development history. These new hotels will not only further enrich the group's brand and portfolio, but with the official entry of the Folio and Homm brands into Japan, they once again demonstrate the group's commitment and concrete actions to actively enhance brand awareness and coverage in destination hospitality markets, while promoting connections between travel gateways, leading guests to experience the brilliance of diverse cultures and immerse themselves in breathtaking scenery."
