Strolling Through Carss Bush Park in Sydney
Today it was overcast and very cool. In the morning, I drove to Carss Bush Park, which is only a 7-minute drive from home. Ha, such a beautiful scenic spot so close to home!
There are mountain hiking trails, coastal boardwalks, a children’s playground, barbecue areas, and several free BBQ grills. By the waterfront, there is a natural way to enjoy a seawater spa, and there are lovely parrots. Embracing nature swept away the gloom of the pandemic, leaving me refreshed and invigorated.
On the weekend, every pavilion was filled with family gatherings, a joyful atmosphere, and lots of children.
Pigeons and cockatoos can often be seen flying around the park!
By the waterfront, there is a natural seawater spa experience
Using rocks to enclose a seawater pool, you can stand by the edge and enjoy the impact of the seawater spa – it’s a semi-natural seawater pool. Since Australia’s seasons are opposite to those in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s a great place to escape the cold in winter.
The wind picked up, and it looked like rain. I hadn’t yet had a chance to see the scenic spots on the hill, so I headed back home. I’ll come again next time.
