Checking in at Sydney's Largest Outdoor Children's Playground
Blaxland Riverside Park is located within Sydney Olympic Park.
Blaxland Riverside Park opened in 2012, situated on a hill on the south bank of the Parramatta River. The park is quite large and is considered one of the most popular parks for children in Sydney.
The park's play facilities include a 12-meter-high observation tower overlooking the entire park, a tunnel slide partially hidden on the hillside, a ground-level slide, climbing nets, a flying fox, a sandpit, and a water feature plaza, among others.
Blaxland Riverside Park is very popular among Sydney parents. On weekends and public holidays, it is often crowded, making parking difficult to find. Besides family activities, the park is also suitable for barbecues, cycling, and watching sunsets. There are also bicycle rentals nearby.
