Strolling through Sydney's Federal Park, viewing Australia's longest cable-stayed bridge

Federal Park is located in Annandale, and together with Bicentennial Park, Jubilee Park, and Blackwattle Bay Park, it forms one large green park. This park is an industrial ruin, a crystallization of the ideals and struggles of the local people. It is a project of the Leichhardt Council funded by the New South Wales Bicentennial Council as a bicentennial project.

Within Federal Park there are sports fields and a skate park; Jubilee has historic cricket grounds, while Blackwattle Bay and Bicentennial feature expansive green lawns and harbor views, perfect for picnics.

This vast oasis is Australia's largest urban park and one of the largest urban parks in the world.

It is also Sydney's largest off-leash dog park.

Johnston Creek flows through the entire park.

Tidal pools, which change with the tides, are habitats for creatures such as fish.

Along the riverbank, you can see the Anzac Bridge. The entire path is flat and wide, very suitable for children to hike, cycle, or ride scooters.

Anzac Bridge is Australia's longest cable-stayed bridge, with a span of 345 meters. It was built in 1995 for the Olympic Games that year, costing 170 million Australian dollars. The bridge is a very important thoroughfare connecting downtown Sydney with the western suburbs, with eight lanes and over a hundred thousand vehicles crossing it daily. When opened to traffic in 1995, it was called the Glebe Island Bridge, and in 1998 it was renamed to its current name in honor of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (abbreviated as ANZAC) who served in World War I.
