With breathtaking panoramic views 268 meters above the city, SKYWALK is the perfect platform to share the famous love story behind "Qixi Festival" (Chinese Valentine's Day) with the public.

The special guest couples were Yu Hanyue (21) and Liao Jialei (22) from Mainland China, and Li Qing (21) from Hong Kong, China, and Darcy Donoghue (21) from Australia. They buckled up, rode the gondola up into Sydney's night sky, and enjoyed a romantic surprise.

Accompanied by a guide, they toured the sunset-lit SKYWALK. The guide began by introducing Sydney's popular landmarks and historic buildings, with commentary imbued with a romantic Valentine's Day spirit.

As night fell, the group stood on the northern platform, admiring the beauty of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Even more unexpectedly, musician Ms. Jiang Deyu from Sydney's Miya Chinese Music Academy appeared and played a traditional love song on a beautiful traditional Chinese flute: "The Moon Represents My Heart."

The romance was palpable.

After an introduction, Ms. Jiang played a second piece, "I Only Care About You." Meanwhile, another SKYWALK guide appeared and tied a long-stemmed red rose to each guest's wrist with a red ribbon—the rose being an internationally recognized symbol of love, and red a tribute to the lucky color in Chinese culture.

The couples gazed deeply into each other's eyes, taking in the unparalleled skyline views, and marveling at the stunning nightscape of Sydney below.

Li Qing said, "Celebrating love like this with my beloved is truly unforgettable! Walking in the sky against the sunset was already so romantic that I was overjoyed, but hearing traditional flute music while enjoying the fascinating views of Sydney was an unexpected delight that I will remember forever!"

SKYWALK guide Lin Yaxuan said, "As more Chinese tourists return to Australia, we are delighted to welcome more visitors from China and local Chinese tourists at Sydney Tower Eye; it is also a great honor for us to celebrate important international festivals like Qixi Festival with our guests."
