Wind rises through the vast forests, the bustling capital Chang'an, myriad lights witnessing countless changes, dozens of dynasties established their capitals here, a deep 'Chang'an complex' is deeply embedded in this city. The long-awaited journey finally brings me to this city full of history and culture—Xi’an. I must share this city, which has brought me endless surprises, with you all~

Coming from another coastal city to the antique charm of Xi'an, the travel experience is entirely different.

Arriving in Xi'an by high-speed train, the brief rest on the way left me feeling energized when I reached the hotel. The hotel I booked for this trip is the 'Mulianzhuang Hotel at Xi'an Gaoxin Wanxiang Hui.' The main reason is its proximity to Xi'an's major scenic spots and nearby bustling commercial areas, which I find very convenient.

The hotel's magnificent and grand design style echoes the distant sunset glow. Stepping into the lobby, you are greeted by highly artistic decorative designs. The staff, upon seeing you with luggage, proactively offer attentive service. Overall, it met my expectations~

Since I had a short nap on the high-speed train, I wasn't sleepy. After putting away my luggage in the room with my friend, we went out to explore the nearby Gaoxin District commercial area and the Golden Eagle International Shopping Center. The mall was bustling with people at night, with many brand counters. We enjoyed leisurely shopping, taking in Xi'an's city nightscape, and strolling hand in hand with loved ones, feeling the evening breeze—it doubled the joy. Since the hotel is quite close to the commercial area in a straight line, we didn't get back too late after shopping.

Perhaps because we were tired from shopping, while sitting and taking a short break in the lobby with my good friend, the unique decorative pieces evoked the flourishing ancient city of Xi'an, constantly exuding a strong historical and cultural atmosphere.

After a brief rest, returning to the elegant room gave a relaxed and comfortable feeling. Opening the large glass window, you could see the beautiful nightscape of Xi'an. The comfortable mattress and bedding ensured a blissful night's sleep.

In the early morning, sitting by the window watching the sunrise peeking through the clouds, a sight I never expected to see here. Although we anticipated a brilliantly shining sun today, we still set off on our planned journey.

Our first stop was the Tang Paradise, which requires advance reservation. While touring, I noticed many handsome young men and women dressed in ancient costumes, as if they had traveled back in time, taking photos with the ancient walls and pavilions in the background, creating lasting memories.

The park has many wonderful performances. I recommend watching 'Lotus Snow Show,' 'Prosperous Chang'an,' and 'Dreaming of the Lotus Realm.' They skillfully use technology to present captivating stories, subtly immersing the audience in cultural enrichment, leaving you wanting more after each show.

Our second stop was the Bell and Drum Tower. I suggest not climbing the tower; just enjoy the sight of the illuminated towers from below. The majestic and spectacular scene is breathtaking. They beat the drum daily to mark the time; though not long, it's a grand spectacle. There are many photo-worthy spots, definitely worth a visit.

We only visited these two attractions in one day, which was already my limit. Back at the hotel, I quickly freshened up and rested in bed. I must commend the hotel for providing Peter Thomas Roth toiletries, my favorite since I started traveling. They leave a pleasant fragrance after washing, making me feel very relaxed.

After a day under the scorching sun, our sweat-soaked clothes were washed in the hotel's 24-hour self-service laundry room, coming out fresh and fragrant. This feature is extremely convenient for travelers~

My fitness-loving friend headed straight to the gym to work up a sweat upon returning—talk about being in great shape! I, on the other hand, prefer a quiet space to do my own thing. So I went to the hotel’s shared space, where I read peacefully. There are also other fun facilities. Seeing groups of friends having a blast reminded me that traveling to ideal destinations with a few close friends is one of the best memories of youth.

On our second day in Xi'an, we decided to have breakfast at the hotel's 'Mulian Buffet Restaurant' before heading out. The breakfast variety was more extensive than expected, with commendable flavors and fresh ingredients. It was a pity we missed it on the first day due to rushing! Overall, it was quite good~

Today we visited more attractions. Our third stop included Huaqing Pool, the Great Tang All Day Mall, and the Terracotta Warriors. These sites are also close to the hotel, so we planned a later exploration. Huaqing Pool is definitely best visited during the day. The garden scenery is picturesque, with many photographers capturing the beauty. A highlight is the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance, centered around the love story of Emperor Li Longji and Yang Yuhuan, combined with high-tech stagecraft to create a visual feast. It was stunning and deeply moving. Also, seeing the Terracotta Warriors, which seemed to have stepped out of history books, was incredible; witnessing such a grand spectacle in person felt truly extraordinary.

We visited the Great Tang All Day Mall in the evening. Its beautiful nightscape made it feel like stepping into the prosperous Tang Dynasty. I recommend the following route: Fountain Square – Dayan Pagoda – Tang Food Court – rooftop of Joy City. After exploring, we took the subway back to the hotel. This trip was packed full, and the experience was fantastic, especially the attentive service of the Mulianzhuang Hotel at Xi'an Gaoxin Wanxiang Hui. The clean, comfortable, and relaxing ambiance added a lot of enjoyment!
