On Sunday, I climbed the long-desired Jiufeng Mountain with friends. We exited at Salaqi Expressway and took a small road north into the mountains. Because it was afternoon when we went, we were not allowed to enter, so we camped in the car for one night. We started climbing early the next day. The ascent took 5 hours and the descent 3.5 hours. It was quite a test of physical strength. Places you haven't been to are scenery. The trip was worthwhile.
