Baotou Travel Guide | Admire Apricot Blossoms at Dayan Beach

The beautiful Dayan Beach scenic area is located within Goumen Town, Tumed Right Banner, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia. It is bordered by the Yin Mountains to the north and the Yellow River to the south, situated in the hinterland of the Hohhot-Baotou-Ordos 'Golden Triangle' with convenient transportation. Since ancient times, this has been a blessed land. With abundant water resources and fertile soil, apricot trees, a type of deciduous tree, grow very well here. Combined with the unique geographical environment surrounded by mountains, apricots here generally ripen earlier than in other regions. The famous Goumen big apricots are produced here. In 2013, the local government collected scattered land from farmers and planned a fruit forest area with a history of over 100 years into the current Dayan Beach scenic area.
