Every time spring arrives, the 5,000-mu Dayan Beach scenic area is covered with pink and white apricot blossoms as far as the eye can see. One can imagine being in a paradise.

Since ancient times, this has been a land of good fortune. With abundant water and fertile soil, apricot trees, a type of deciduous tree, thrive here. Coupled with the unique geographical environment surrounded by mountains, the apricot fruits generally ripen earlier than in other regions. The famous Goumen apricots are produced here.

In 2017, Dayan Beach was awarded the titles of Autonomous Region-level Characteristic Town and National-level Pastoral Complex. With abundant water and fertile soil, it is the largest natural oxygen bar in western China.
