Baotou Travel Guide | Dayantan Scenic Area Welcomes a Tourist Surge!
Every weekend, whether gathering with a few friends or heading out with the whole family, after a short journey without leaving Baotou, you can take in a variety of charming scenery and appreciate the gentle, graceful side of Baotou's charm.
In 2013, the local government consolidated scattered plots of farmland and turned a fruit forest with over 100 years of history into what is now the Dayantan Scenic Area.
The thousand-acre apricot blossom forest at Dayantan, the unique guesthouses of Xiwan Village... these are a feast for the eyes.
As the weather becomes increasingly pleasant and the scenery more beautiful, the Dayantan Scenic Area is now welcoming a surge of visitors.
The project broke ground in 2013. Covering an area of 5,000 mu, with a total investment of 126 million yuan, it features a picking garden, an animal viewing farm, a hundred-flower garden, a farming experience park, a folk culture street, a water park, and a beacon tower sightseeing platform, among other attractions.
Centered on fruit picking, flower viewing, and farm life experiences, it integrates natural scenery, historical sites, cultural heritage, and specialty farming into an open, high-standard eco-tourism destination. It is the largest natural oxygen bar in western China.
