This trip to Bali was a spontaneous getaway, with the sole purpose of escaping the hustle and bustle of city life and crowds for a thorough rest. The focus was on visiting the four most scenic beach resorts on the island—Kuta, Sanur, Nusa Dua, and Jimbaran—and enjoying the world-famous sunrise and sunset over the Bali Strait from the east and west coasts. I leisurely explored the four most beautiful beaches in southern Bali, where the soft sand, wide shores, clear blue waters, and fresh air brought a sense of unparalleled relaxation and peace. Quiet and tranquil, free from the noise of the city, one can unwind and reconnect with nature. Bali is the ultimate choice for a serene holiday.

Long renowned for its charming beaches and natural scenery, this tourist destination has consistently ranked among the world's most popular travel spots.

Bali has a tropical island climate, hot year-round, with an average temperature of about 28°C. The rainy season lasts from October to March, with April being the hottest month. From May to September, cool air from Australia moves north, making these months the coolest and the best time to visit Bali.

Bali offers a rich and diverse dining scene, ranging from international cuisine, regional Nanyang flavors, local Balinese dishes, to Chinese food. Local meals and seafood grills tend to be oily and spicy, with strong Southeast Asian flavors.

Bali is a world-renowned resort destination, elegant and beautiful, with blue skies, clear waters, coconut trees, fine sandy beaches, warm sunshine, and cool sea breezes.

Main attractions include beach areas, natural scenery, and temples.

Famous beaches and scenic spots: Kuta, Sanur, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran beaches; Ubud area; Mount Agung; Lombok, etc.

Famous temples and attractions: Tanah Lot, Ulun Danu Beratan, Tirta Empul, Ubud Palace (in Ubud), Uluwatu Temple (in Uluwatu area), etc.

As for admission, beaches are free and open to the public. Tickets for other temples and attractions are very reasonable, around 10-15 RMB for adults and half price for children.

Located in the town of Mengwi, 16 km northwest of the capital Denpasar, the large Royal Water Temple (Ulun Danu Beratan) was a major garden temple during the Mengwi Kingdom period, built by the king in 1634. It is one of the most beautiful temples in Bali and served as the royal sanctuary of the Mengwi era. The temple is surrounded by a moat, and lotus flowers bloom in the pond in summer. It is not far from Kuta and Tanah Lot.

In this spacious garden temple, you can leisurely wander for two or three hours, carefully admiring the intricately crafted sacrificial towers and shrines, and experiencing the unique temple culture of Bali.

After visiting the Water Temple, take a 30-minute taxi ride to the most famous attraction and sea wonder of Bali—Tanah Lot.

Located on the west coast of Bali, north of Seminyak, Tanah Lot is the most important sea temple on the island. It was built in the 16th century to worship the sea god and is considered a holy site by Balinese Hindus. Unlike other parts of Indonesia, where different religions prevail, Bali was historically influenced by Indian culture and religion, so most residents practice Hinduism—making it the only place in Indonesia where Hinduism is followed. However, the Hinduism here differs from that in India; it is a blend of Hindu teachings and Balinese customs, known as Balinese Hinduism.

Tanah Lot sits on a huge offshore rock. When the tide rises, the rock is surrounded by water, completely isolating the temple from the land. It stands alone in the sea and is only connected to the mainland during low tide.
