Indonesia, Bali – March 29, 2025, is Bali's Nyepi (Day of Silence), also the beginning of the Balinese Saka New Year, a unique festival of Bali. This day, also known as the 'Day of Silence,' is commemorated through peaceful introspection, prayer, and meditation.

At Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay, guests can watch the traditional Ogoh-Ogoh parade and burning ceremony, where giant paper effigies are set ablaze to pray for a peaceful and prosperous year ahead. At Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan, guests can experience 'Klangsah' art, using mats woven from coconut leaves to make hats, bowls, handbags, baskets, decorations, and also create intricate fruit offerings called 'Gebogan.'

Additionally, complimentary activities at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan include a 'Truth' throat chakra yoga session on the eve of Nyepi (the day of exorcism or the day before the Day of Silence), focusing on the energy of the throat chakra in expressing one's authentic voice and uniqueness, to better welcome the Day of Silence. On the morning of Nyepi, guests can experience 'Perception' third eye chakra yoga to balance the energy of the third eye; and as night falls, a stargazing meditation allows guests to immerse themselves in tranquility and enjoy pure moments.
