Barcelona is located in the northeastern part of the Iberian Peninsula, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Its architecture clearly reflects the city's connection with the sea. To truly immerse myself in this Mediterranean city, I found the most characteristic spot in Barcelona, and unexpectedly discovered a 'big treasure.' Click the video to see it!

This most 'Barcelona' place is the Pirate Market. The name 'Pirate Market' is what people call it, but it's actually the city's largest flea market. In summary, they sell three kinds of things: new, old, and very old. It got its nickname because the origins of the goods are interesting, and the items are incredibly diverse and fun.

If you have enough time, you could easily spend an entire day here. Treasure hunting here is so much fun. There are almost no tourists in sight, but plenty of locals. Many people come here to buy second-hand furniture and small decorations when renovating their homes. I also bought my beloved Ferrari model car and a vintage palace-style fan. If I had to give one tip for bargain hunting, it's to haggle and aim for half the asking price.

That Ferrari model car is the big treasure I found this time. The model is called the 250 GTO, which holds an important historical place in the Ferrari family.

The Ferrari 250 GTO was the most advanced sports car of the 1960s, dominating world motorsport championships at its peak. It's a variant of the Ferrari 250, one of the most important models in Ferrari's history and the first mass-produced Ferrari. Production ended in 1964, marking the end of the 250 era. The car's engine produces a maximum output of 302 horsepower and a maximum torque of 333 N·m, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds—a performance that rivals even modern cars.

Besides treasure hunting, the Pirate Market area also has a seafood rice dish that suits Chinese tastes perfectly. Actually, many local seafood rice dishes have undercooked rice because locals prefer that texture. But this place is different—the rice is fully cooked, very soft and sticky, with the savory flavors fully infused. It leaves a lingering fragrance.

When you're in Catalonia, you can't miss the little green peppers. Fried little peppers are incredibly fragrant—you can eat them as a snack, or pair them with rice or alcohol.

The fresh shrimp salad is my favorite. It is said that the owner personally prepares this dish. Drizzled with olive oil and vinegar, it's fresh and refreshing.

After the delicious meal, the cappuccino at this place is also fantastic, with great presentation. Having one for afternoon tea is pure bliss. I've always felt I have three stomachs: one for food, one for drinks, and one for desserts. Ending the meal with tiramisu feels like reaching the pinnacle of life.

Both the Pirate Market and the seafood rice are quintessential Barcelona experiences. I've truly fallen in love with this Mediterranean city. If the central park near the Pirate Market is built in the future, it will become a landmark, easy to access and find. Welcome to check it out!
