First time at the Thatched Cottage, the garden is well-built, many retirees resting inside.
This thatched cottage is said to be the residence of the Poet Saint, but later seeing the introduction of Tang Dynasty relics, it turns out there is controversy over whether this is actually Du Fu's Thatched Cottage. It was only settled after archaeological excavation of Tang Dynasty remains. So, this thatched cottage is also a modern imagined version.
Thatched Cottage remains for later generations; Poet Saint eternal for a thousand autumns
"Shu" In midsummer the cottage is hot, Du Fu's worries deep. The Great Tang fades away, revival has taken root
Thousands of mansions stand, the poor scholars joyfully rush. Bright candles pray to heaven, the old man should be comforted
Sitting in rows, eating fruits, preserving a leisurely good life
A million rays of light, belief that writings astonish the world; a thousand years of admiration, still toils carriages and horses to stop at the riverside
Guest Arrives: Du Fu's secluded dwelling, few visitors; old and ill, supported by others, difficult to bow. How can writings astonish the world? In vain, carriages and horses stop at the riverside. All day lingering to entertain honored guests; a hundred years of coarse food for a poor scholar. Do not mind lacking supplies in the wild; if interested, come again to see the herb garden.
Spent a long time in the thousand-poem stele garden, taking photos of favorite poems, couplets, and calligraphy of famous artists, to slowly appreciate later on the computer.
