A Peak in the Yin Mountains -- Jiufeng Mountain at 2338 m, Lower than the Highest Peak Huhebashige Mountain at 2364 m
On Sunday, I climbed the long-anticipated Jiufeng Mountain with friends. We got off the highway at Salaqi and took a small road north into the mountains. Since we arrived in the afternoon, we were not allowed to enter, so we camped in the car for one night. The next morning we started climbing. It took 5 hours to ascend and 3.5 hours to descend, which was quite physically demanding. Places we had never been are scenery. It was a worthwhile trip.
