Three-Day Tour of Handan, Hebei During National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival – Day 3: Guangfu Ancient Town, Ganlu Temple, Hongji Bridge
Woke up on the 6th and started preparing to go home. Happened to pass by Guangfu Ancient Town, so went in for a quick visit.
The scale is similar to Pingyao. However, in terms of cleanliness, management, souvenirs, and overall food and entertainment experience, it falls far short.
I took a quick tour. At noon, I had a bowl of Guangfu noodles and then went home.
As soon as I left the parking lot, someone solicited, asking if I wanted a ride. 50 yuan for a tour covering 8 scenic spots. Guangfu Water Street was not open; they said it only opens in summer.
I left the ancient city without any foreshadowing, and the last scenic spot was Ganlu Temple. It is said to be the place where the third daughter of Emperor Yang of Sui became a nun. It was once burned down and has only been rebuilt for a few years. In the pond, there were actually small turtles.
I searched and found that Hongji Temple was not far, so I drove over. The entrance fee was 30 yuan, and I went in alone. It is a very, very small park. Shortly after I entered, two tour groups were giving explanations there. They said this is the 'Eye of Handan.'
Zhaozhou Bridge is well protected. This place is also protected.
