It looks even more beautiful when the lights come on at night. It can hold 336 people (6 per cabin, 56 cabins). The design is inspired by Yunnan's iconic peacock, making it the park's landmark attraction. From the top, guests can admire the shimmering waters of Dianchi, the highland pearl, and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Colorful Yunnan Ancient Dian City Resort.

1. Midsummer Beer Carnival
I never knew Kunming could be this cool in summer, or that the nights here could be so vibrant and pleasant. I usually prefer quiet, but some scenes really moved me, like tonight's beer festival. Sentimental or even a bit emotional, I thoroughly enjoyed this night and its atmosphere. The performances on stage were so exciting they left me exhilarated, yet a reluctant, wistful feeling lingered. This unforgettable night made it hard to say goodbye to Kunming and to Colorful Yunnan Ancient Dian City Resort.

The Ancient Dian Premium Wetland is a large and well-known park covering over 1,100 mu (approx. 180 acres), offering a diverse range of wetland experiences. With wetland scenery as its theme, it showcases beautiful ecological landscapes. Here, you can soak in the idyllic waterside ambiance.
Kayaking here is very special and memorable. It started with a startle, but after catching my breath, I gradually adjusted and managed a small loop on Dianchi's inner lake in a kayak. Exercise really is addictive, and the charm of the 8,000 Camp becomes even more alluring.
Rock climbing, a popular activity in recent years, offers fun and a high-intensity workout that's great for the body. Many people love it. This was our first stop, and we had a blast.
Star Tourist Astronomical Science Museum
Yihai Grand Pier: Here you can board a pleasure boat or take a small vessel to cruise the inner lake of Ancient Dian.

I've always felt that Colorful Yunnan Ancient Dian City Resort has built an entire town, and within it lies a hot spring manor. It's not only perfect for wellness travelers but also a great place for young people to unwind after a few days of exploration. At a spot called Half-Mountain Gem, I was lucky to catch the Forest Elegance Gathering, where I happened upon tea ceremony and flower arrangement classes. The tea ceremony hostess demonstrated polished tea-making skills with practiced, flawless movements. The tea's fragrance wafted out even before it was ready, and the finished brew was wonderfully fragrant and delicious—a truly memorable experience for me.
Dora Cute Pet Paradise
Another highlight of Colorful Yunnan Ancient Dian City Resort, especially for families with children, is the Ancient Dian Dora Cute Pet Paradise. It's the country's first outdoor ecological cute pet park, where you can get up close and interact harmoniously with adorable animals, teasing and playing with them.
