I've Heard About You for a Long Time! Let Me Meet You – Sunac Dianchi Back Sea Check-In Guide
While scrolling through videos, I came across Sunac Dianchi Back Sea more than once. Shortly after, many friends also frequently posted check-ins on my feed!
Finally, I found a free slot, so let me go and meet this new check-in spot — "Dianchi Back Sea"!
Together with my friend, we took a bullet train from Chuxiong to Kunming. After getting off at the train station, we took a taxi directly to the destination. The whole trip took less than two hours, which was very convenient! The bullet train ticket cost 71 yuan, and the taxi fare was about 20 yuan!
We arrived at Dianchi Back Sea just in time for lunch! We found a nearby guesthouse to drop off our stuff and started our happy check-in!
Accommodation: 26Life Tribe Trace
This guesthouse is near the entrance. We chose it for its convenience, but it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. It's an ethnic-style experience inn, with different rooms representing different ethnic groups, each with a completely different décor style. My favorites were the eye-soothing green Dai room and the blue-and-white Bai room!
The rooftop on the second floor is also a great place to have a drink and enjoy the breeze, giving a very cozy lifestyle feel. The TV is huge, and the air conditioning, shower, and 24-hour hot water are all excellent. Overall, it's super nice, and I'm very satisfied!
Food: Fishman Fish Boy
I was hungry for a long time, and the first thing that caught my eye was the delicious food on their flyer!
It was truly the best fish I've ever eaten, and without bones, perfect for someone like me who loves fish but hates spitting out bones!
The most unique thing is that they lay the fish on hot pebbles, then pour the broth into the pot, and the delicious dish appears right before your eyes! For the flavor, I recommend the traditional sour cabbage pot – the fish is tender and well-seasoned! It's really worth a try!
Another treasure at their place is the "Honey-glazed Cherry Tomatoes" – sweet and sour, absolutely delicious!
TIPS: Average cost is about 70 yuan per person! Highly recommended!
Attraction: "Sea World"
Sea World was a spot my friend had been wanting to visit! After lunch, we headed straight there. Once inside, the place is huge, and I suggest picking up a map at the entrance.
Besides observing all kinds of marine life, there are many interesting shows worth watching. My favorite was the dolphin show – the little dolphins were so adorable! The lady playing the mermaid was also very beautiful, with graceful movements and elegant tail flicks, surrounded by many fish. She must be a fairy!
Additionally, there are many interactive experiences. Everyone should try "Flying over Yunnan" – viewing Yunnan from an aerial perspective is truly breathtaking! Taking photos there is also a great choice. With any beauty camera app, you can quickly get great shots because the lighting is so dreamy!
Tips for Sea World:
I'd like to recommend a mini-program called "Sunac Cultural Tourism Club." You can book tickets through it, which is super convenient. We found the QR code for this mini-program on the table while eating. After entering the town, you can scan it anywhere – it's everywhere and very handy!
The reason I recommend it is that it has a maze inside. The maze is incredibly photogenic. At first, I thought it was just a store selling things, but inside there's a magical maze with all kinds of light and shadow effects – every random shot looks gorgeous. If you like taking photos, I suggest you go check it out!
Adult ticket: 30 yuan
Child ticket: 15 yuan
After strolling around the town, there were countless interesting shops that I can't recommend all of them here. You'll have to discover them on your own!
