"Some things, if you don't do them now, you might never do them later; some places, if you don't go now, you might never go later." This is a saying I've always agreed with. Unfortunately, although I find it so true, I haven't been to many places... I admit I'm a person who lacks initiative... Time slips away quietly amid constant daydreaming...

I love mountains and rivers, so Yunnan is a place I've always wanted to visit. And what attracts me most is you, Lugu Lake. As a child, I loved reading travel books. For a while, I had to flip through a few pages every night before bed. The beauty of Lugu Lake was etched into my mind back then. This time, I must fulfill this childhood dream.

This photo: After getting off the cable car, it's time to rely on your own two feet. Standing at the viewing platform, the scenery is truly incredible—feeling like the earth is beneath your feet.

The temperature on the mountain is very low, and the wind is strong. You simply can't stand it without a down jacket. I pride myself on not being afraid of the cold, but even I was shivering... But facing such beautiful scenery, the cold was nothing. Start shooting~~~ What does the photo want to say?

This photo: Not long after, Xiao Hei couldn't stand the cold anymore, couldn't stay outdoors, let alone climb higher. She said she'd go inside and wait for me. Alright then, I continued climbing with a fellow traveler, an older sister. She is from an ethnic minority, from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, with great stamina. She guided and encouraged me to keep going. Thank you, Xiao Man jie~ What does the photo want to say? …

What does this photo want to say? … Under Xiao Man jie's leadership, we really exhausted every ounce of strength to climb to an altitude of 4,680 meters. The highest peak of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain exceeds 5,000 meters, but tourists can only go up to 4,680. Any higher, I guess I couldn't make it either... But after all, I did reach the highest point accessible, a moment worth remembering.

This photo: About a 20-minute drive took us to Blue Moon Valley. The guide said we could tour the valley by electric cart or on foot; he'd wait at the end. Without a doubt, we chose walking. Besides, the cart costs money.

After arriving at Blue Moon Valley, Xiao Hei was clearly much better, her face no longer pale. She officially declared a full recovery. A little face reveal~ haha~ What does it say? …

This photo: The time was around 1 p.m., the sun almost directly overhead, the light was too harsh... And you could feel the UV rays intensely. Xiao Hei was crying and shouting that after we get home, we can't call her 'Big Black'... Alright... What does it want to say? …

This photo: What would it feel like to live here? Leave some space for yourself to imagine slowly.

Around 3 p.m., we started heading back. The guide said he could drop us off at nearby Shuhe Ancient Town, but we'd have to find our own way back to the inn. Many people had said Shuhe is a place well worth visiting, so I decided to check it out. Indeed, it's much quieter than Lijiang Old Town—an excellent choice for accommodation!

In the evening, we ate the famous small pot rice in Shuhe Ancient Town. It was indeed fragrant—the rice was cooked with many seasonings, absolutely delicious, so yummy! The steam pot chicken soup was wonderful, made with local free-range chicken, full of original flavor. The braised beef brisket was excellent, generous portion, cooked to perfection, very appetizing. And there was 'water-nature flower', a local vegetable, very nice!

This photo: Slowly, I walked to the foot of Lion Hill and met this old grandma. I don't know if she was selling something or waiting for her family to come home; she just stood at the doorway, gazing into the distance. And what I did was pick up my camera, press the shutter, and capture this moment. What? …

This photo: Get in the car, keep moving forward. Sitting and sitting, I became numb. Not only my head numb, my butt too... Lugu Lake was still somewhere far ahead. At this point, I really had to admire those road construction workers—you guys are truly amazing... Head numb, I don't know how long it was before the driver stopped at a place, turned around and told us, from here you can look down at ** River, and there are either 18 bends or some number of bends (dizzy, can't remember), everyone can get out and take photos. Before coming, I never imagined we'd pass by ** River, and I was instantly excited. Getting out and looking, I was drunk... I think I failed to capture the color of ** River; it's like a winding jade inlaid in this three-dimensional land. It's so tranquil that from a distance you can hardly tell if it's flowing. The driver said we'd follow this twisting mountain road ahead to the mountain opposite ** River... Ahead, countless mountains still to cross. Huh? …

This photo: After a nap, I felt a bit better, but still a bit dizzy and weak. But I really couldn't waste time like this, so I decided to go out for a walk. The sun had set, the temperature dropped a lot, put on my down jacket and set off. The inn is right by the lake; just go through the back door to reach the lake. This was my first intimate contact with her. Haha~ Behind the inn there's a small flower garden with my favorite Gesang flowers, love them~ What does it want to say? …

This photo: In about twenty minutes, we arrived at Liwubi Island. Actually, it's a tiny island, the highest point has a temple, and behind the island is Crocodile Island. On the island, I saw two ladies on another boat, haha, sneak a photo from afar~ What does the photo want to say? …

This photo: I really envy the people who live here. Maybe they're not wealthy, maybe their lives lack other **, but living here, what ** do you need? Self-sufficient, without strife, isn't that the most natural life?

The azure lake water, like silk, soft and smooth! What does the photo want to say? …

This photo: Actually... I really wanted to throw Xiao Hei into the water, let her lie on the lake for me to take a few shots, haha~ But, probably, she'd beat me to death... What does the photo want to say? …

This photo: This is probably the liveliest spot around Lugu Lake, but if I had to choose again, I'd still stay in Daluoshui. I'm a guy who loves tranquility~ What does it want to say? …

This photo: Erhai Lake before sunset, so tranquil that one seems to forget the passage of time. The sea breeze gently blows, moving not only the hems of clothes but also the soul. We who live in cities are troubled by too much noise and burdened by too much pressure. At this moment, it's as if people are reborn, all the dust of the bustling city is completely washed away. Let's feel this peace again, just like this, quietly, quietly, lightly... What does it want to say? …

This is not a how-to post; you won't find so-called travel guides here, only our memories. I hope everyone can keep walking joyfully on the road, discovering the beauty of **~
