Splendid Qinghai, Golmud above the clouds.

Chaerhan Salt Lake is the largest salt lake in the world.

I love the marshmallow-like lakeshore, and I also love the jade-like surface of the water.

Putting on a long red dress, I became part of the scenery too.

The hem was a bit long; when the wind blew, it fell onto the lake surface.

He said, don't move, let me take a close-up.

The pavilion on the viewing platform was also very beautiful.

I still prefer sitting on this narrow lakeshore.

In August, you and I meet at Chaerhan Salt Lake.

Every trip brings different encounters. This time with you, meeting here, the beautiful memories we made are worth recording.

My long dress fluttered over the salt lake and accidentally fell onto the water, leaving a trail of salt on the skirt;

My feet stepped on the salt flowers, feeling their beauty.

They say you need a guide to come here, or you might easily get lost.

The salt fields here all look square and identical.

Chaerhan Salt Lake is located 60 kilometers north of Golmud and is known as the "King of World Salt Lakes."

Chaerhan Salt Lake stretches about 130 kilometers from east to west, about 40 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of over 5,860 square kilometers.

Coming here, looking at the barren lakebed, a boundless expanse of white meeting the horizon, it's as if a fresh layer of frost and snow has just fallen on the vast wilderness.

Last time I came was at the end of March; there were many salt flowers on the lake. This time I came at the beginning of July; the water was greener.

We were here, captivated by the beauty of the salt lake, constantly recording, running, jumping happily...

We arrived here along the "Ten-Thousand-Zhang Salt Bridge." This jade-belt-like "Salt Bridge" has no guardrails on the sides and no piers underneath. The Ten-Thousand-Zhang Salt Bridge is a wonder in world architectural history created by the first generation builders of this city!

Walking in Golmud, I encountered many wonders and heard many stories. We were fascinated by the unique beauty here.

Here, I met an old friend I hadn't seen for a long time. He mentioned that we are more than 3,000 kilometers apart, and meeting here is a rare fate.

Here, a few new and old friends unknowingly had a few more drinks.

When asked what attracted me most to Golmud, I mentioned Chaerhan Salt Lake.

In my last trip, it was a snowy day. That day, I was wrapped in layers upon layers. While filming the salt lake, my face was icy cold, and my hands were stiff. This time, the weather was pleasant, but the ultraviolet rays were still quite strong. Just a short period of exposure, and my skin, which I had managed to lighten after covering up through autumn and winter, instantly turned dark.

There aren't many flights from Wenzhou to Golmud, and on the return trip, we even encountered a flight cancellation.

I really wish I had more free time to wander slowly here.

Some people said that in our six-day, five-night journey, the most eye-catching spots were Chaerhan Salt Lake, Water Yadan, Kunlun Mountain Grand Canyon, and Xitai Jinaier Lake.

But what he preferred was the General's Building. He said that as a child, he had the chance to meet General Mu Shenzhong, who had retired and was visiting Baoji to see his grandfather. At that time, he just thought he was an ordinary old man with a heavy northern Shaanxi accent. After growing up and reading memoirs and watching TV series, he realized that the old general was so worthy of our respect!

He said that last year he went to Golmud, and the city was quite well-built. Standing below the Tianlu Tower, looking up to the old general, his heart was filled with the vicissitudes of those years for a long time!

The memory of a city is sometimes because of a person, a story, a landscape...

For the six days and five nights in Golmud, we actually walked for four days. The first day's itinerary was very relaxed, mainly to help us adapt to Golmud's high-altitude environment. If I come next time, I want to schedule Chaerhan Salt Lake on the first day—it's just too beautiful here. I also want to stay overnight at the Taijinaier Wild Luxury Town, timing it to capture the sunrise or sunset over Water Yadan.

D1: Populus Euphratica Forest Desert Park—General's Building

D2: Water Yadan—Xitai Jinaier Lake

D3: Kunlun Sacred Spring—Wuji Dragon and Phoenix Palace—Kunlun Mountain Pass—Hoh Xil Sonam Dargye Protection Station

D4: Kunlun Mountain Grand Canyon—Chaerhan Salt Lake

If you are coming to Golmud from a low-altitude area, it is recommended to take Rhodiola rosea in advance.
