2025 Golmud Self-driving Camping Conference and Beer Music Carnival Grandly Opens, Ushering in a New Chapter of Cultural and Tourism Integration

On August 15, the 2025 Golmud Self-driving Camping Conference and Beer Music Carnival, themed 'A Thousand Cars Chasing the Wind, Ten Thousand Drinks Reveling — Carefree Golmud', grandly opened at the Liuzihu Ecological Culture Education Base. This event, as one of the important subsidiary events of the 9th Nadam Fair of Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, attracted many self-driving enthusiasts, tourists, and guests from all over the country to gather in Golmud, jointly starting a summer feast that integrates nature, culture, and joy.

Li Jianping, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Golmud Municipal People's Congress; Nimecai Rang, Vice Mayor of the Municipal People's Government and Director of the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Sports, Tourism, Radio, and Television; Guang Ming, Vice Chairman of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; Wang Tiancong, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal People's Government and Leader of the Zhejiang Aid-Qinghai Golmud Work Group; and Wang Linqing, Executive Deputy Director of the Municipal Propaganda Department of the Golmud Municipal Committee, attended the scene.

At the event site, the brand-new Liuzihu RV Self-driving Camp was officially unveiled. With the official launch of the 'Thousand Cars, Ten Thousand Drives' Golmud Attraction Promotion Plan, the first convoy consisting of guests such as the president of the self-driving association, travel agency representatives, and the regional manager of Ctrip Group set off in a mighty procession. They will follow carefully planned routes to deeply explore iconic sites in Golmud, including Jiangjunlou Park, the Kunlun Mountains, and Qarhan Salt Lake, experiencing the city's unique natural scenery and cultural charm through self-driving, and appreciating the rare landscape resource of 'Ten Scenes in One Frame'. After the opening ceremony, the Beer Music Carnival officially kicked off, bringing a spectacular audio-visual and taste feast to the audience. A beer area was set up at the event, featuring various beers, allowing citizens and tourists to enjoy refreshing flavors while drinking freely. The electronic DJ performance was passionate, with energetic music igniting the atmosphere, and the audience swayed along with the rhythm.
