As we grew up, we rarely saw snow in Jiangnan. For Jiangnan cities, winter snow scenes are almost absent, but the spring and summer scenery are equally beautiful. Visiting city parks, you can see the lush green and fading red in spring, while in summer, the red fades and the green thrives. In the sunny March of spring, flowers bloom in a season of warmth, and the stunning beauty of hundreds of flowers is known as the "flower season." Ancient poets often used the phrase "flower moon" in their works to describe the blooming spring, as in the line "Carriages flow like water, horses like dragons, flowers and moons in the spring breeze," a true portrayal of spring's prosperity and liveliness. In Jiangnan city parks, although there is no winter snow scenery, there is the vitality of spring and the beauty of flower moons. Every spring, the cherry blossoms bloom in Ningyang Park in the small Jiangnan city of Ningguo. The red and white flowers are irresistible. Aside from Ningguo, the flower seasons in other Jiangnan cities must be just as beautiful!

In the blooming spring, the red of the flowers is vivid, while the green of leaves and grass appears somewhat delicate. Ningyang Park is an ordinary city park in the small Jiangnan city of Ningguo, with fairly average scenery. But in spring, with the vibrant blossoms, it suddenly becomes very beautiful and interesting.

Two months later, I visited Ningyang Park again. Although the stunning blossoms were gone, the lush greenery provided a strong visual impact. This is a corner of Ningyang Park captured by Shanjun on May 10, 2020.
