One-Day Self-Driving Tour on the Southern Anhui Sichuan-Tibet Line
Got off work at 18:00 on Friday evening and drove from Nanjing to Ningguo. I heard that the Hanting Hotel is newly opened, clean and spacious. I chose Vienna, but didn't experience cleanliness and spaciousness. I suggest trying Hanting.
Before 09:00 on Saturday morning, finish breakfast. Enter from the east entrance of the Southern Anhui Sichuan-Tibet Line. Drive along the road. When you see an intersection where you can park, consider stopping to enjoy the scenery. We traveled on a rainy day, with few cars, and the thunderstorms came and went intermittently, which felt great. (This is the end of the guide; the rest is just driving along the road, and you can consider stopping wherever parking is possible.)
Our first stop:
For example, the second stop, Chujia Beach:
At Qinglong Bay Dongfeng Pier, you can take a cruise and experience the feeling of 'a light boat has passed through thousands of mountains':
Huiyun Zen Temple, empty of people. Too few people are willing to climb the steps to the top. The view from the top is nice:
Continue driving, and you will keep encountering nice scenery, like:
Maybe, you will also encounter monkeys. The redwood forest is not red in summer, so you can skip stopping.
The Six Curves are the highlight:
After going downhill, the scenery is also beautiful, beautiful enough to be a desktop wallpaper:
Finally, we checked into Longmen Inn at Moon Bay. The view from the inn entrance:
The inn can provide meals, and there is also barbecue. After dark, kids can even buy fireworks:
A KTV with a strong rural flavor (free at the inn), right at the hotel entrance:
Finally, a suggestion for urban construction: If someone pours kitchen waste into the river, consider installing surveillance cameras with facial recognition and imposing administrative penalties.
