Shuimo Tingxi is an excellent natural scenic area along the Wannan Sichuan-Tibet Highway in Anhui. The natural scenery here is magnificent in all seasons and captivating. I had traveled along the Wannan Sichuan-Tibet Highway before and was mesmerized by the scenery here for a long time while passing by. Now I finally have the opportunity to come and stay here for a few days to experience the baptism of pure natural scenery. Sihai Homestay is the stopover for this trip, located in Zhanling Village, Shuimo Tingxi Scenic Area, Tingxi Township, Jing County.

Originally named Wuxianju Mountain Villa, it is surrounded by green mountains and clear waters, far from the city. It sits on the mountainside, backed by green hills, with bamboo forests on all sides. The vegetation coverage is extremely large, with patches of green meeting the eyes, full of vitality.

Not far from the front door is the Tingxi River. The homestay is inside the Shuimo Tingxi Scenic Area, making it very convenient to explore. The natural scenery with few traces of human intervention is the most beautiful landscape here. The homestay is located on the mountaintop. Looking into the distance, you can see white clouds and mist drifting among the mountains. The white and green interweave, creating a unique and pleasant scene.

Every breath of air here is extremely pure and fresh, with a faint scent of grass and wood filling the nostrils. Because it is far from the city and surrounded by peaks and forests, the air is exceptionally fresh, making it a rare oxygen-bar resort. Especially after summer rain, the washed layers of mountains and forests exude a crisp fragrance, an ultimate purity. This environment is truly easy to fall in love with.

"Clouds brush over the mountainside, wind brings raindrops." The overall design of the homestay is very unique, medium-sized, economical, and a combination of modernization, diversification, and humanization. It is one of the few places with a distinct personality in the area, and its wooden-structure-based house design is innovative.

The building is three stories high, with a courtyard for free activities for many people, and two casual dining areas on the side. Its elevated position offers a panoramic view of the surrounding scenery. It is both a place for sightseeing and relaxing, as well as for dining and barbecuing. Compared to the coziness indoors, here you can get closer to nature more naturally, with a more romantic and leisurely charm.

There are 8 elegantly and tastefully decorated guest rooms, accommodating up to 16 people at a time, including 7 standard rooms and 1 king bed room. The ceilings and walls are designed with raw wood, with the scent of wood lingering throughout the room, creating a forest-like atmosphere of returning to nature. The pure white high-quality bedding is soft and skin-friendly, conducive to a good sleep.

Outside the full-length floor-to-ceiling windows is a modest-sized viewing balcony, directly facing the green trees in the mountains. The air is fresh and pleasant. Looking out, you see pristine natural scenery. Even without leaving the room, you can feel a kind of comfort and relaxation as if you are immersed in nature.

The decoration materials used in the rooms are all formaldehyde-free and environmentally friendly, including wooden flooring, full-room carpet, hanging chairs, etc. The décor is very particular about coordination, giving the ultimate visual comfort. It is especially suitable for a short stay with family and friends to personally experience the slow life of mountain farmhouses.

The homestay owner is a genuine local, warm and hospitable, thoughtful and considerate. He has been running the homestay with integrity for many years, receiving unanimous praise from tourists. Many visitors come specifically for a stay, and there are countless repeat customers who come every year. The homestay has a very high reputation in the industry.

During leisure time, the homestay offers entertainment facilities such as mahjong machines and karaoke. On the hillside behind the homestay, there are several beehives. Under the owner's professional guidance, you can personally experience the fun of honey harvesting.

You can also go up the mountain to pick wild fruits, wild vegetables, wild bamboo shoots, etc. Life here is simple but full of fun. It is a place where you don't want to leave once you come. Here, you can sit by the window freely, listen to music, watch the scenery, daydream, and enjoy the long-lost comfort of the holiday.
