Sagittarius Sister Takes Kids on a Trip to Southern Anhui
The weather gets hotter every summer. Taking advantage of the summer vacation, let's go to Southern Anhui for a cool water trip.
Set foot on the 318 Sichuan-Tibet Highway in Southern Anhui, though those really heading to Tibet don't take this section.
Arrived at the homestay in Ningguo. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, there was green everywhere, and there was a small stream at the door for playing in the water, getting close to nature. The kid had a great time playing in the water.
Strolled around the farmyards and ate farmhouse dishes. Every household here grows corn, so it seems to be one of the staple foods.
The clay-pot chicken was very fragrant. The scallions for the scallion fried eggs were freshly cut from the garden in front of the shop. You could also buy a group-buying package.
In the evening, the homestay host gave the kids a few fireworks to play with.
A brand new, energetic day—headed to the reservoir area for a walk.
Also found a little sister coffee shop with a delicate little garden full of flowers and plants. The owners were three young women, two from Anhui locals and one from Chaoshan, who seemed to have a pursuit of quality of life.
Had some iced coffee, read books, chatted—the pace of life slowed down.
In the early morning, the reservoir had a thick mist. Some photography enthusiasts came specifically to take ethereal photos. We arrived late, and the mist had already dissipated.
Once upon a time, there was a mountain, and on the mountain was a temple. You could also climb up to enjoy the view.
In the afternoon, it was time for the kid's rafting.
Visited other nearby homestays.
Strolled, looked around, ate, and snacked.
Only remembered to take a photo of the braised pork noodle soup after eating half of it—it was very flavorful.
There were quite a few other homestays in the village.
Arrived at the homestay in Jingxian, the next stop.
The kid particularly loved Anhui's stinky mandarin fish, which was rich in flavor.
After dinner, took a stroll in the village.
There were homestays, fields, and a small river—humans and nature in harmony.
The next stop passed the Fish Scale Dam on Highway 318, driving along winding mountain roads.
Reached the homestay in Wangcun, Moon Bay, and had lunch. The food they cooked was especially delicious.
In the afternoon, we did the aerial rafting here again—half on a glass track, half on a natural river. Since we stored our phones, no photos were taken. In the evening, many homestays in the village offered karaoke, and you could buy fireworks by the stream.
The fireworks night was very lively, with both adults and kids playing.
After breakfast, we set off on the return trip to Shanghai. The pleasant journey came to an end. The water play trip was perfect for summer.
