A Lazy and Leisurely Three-Day Trip to Guangde, Anhui
My cousin lives in Jiulong Village, Chencun Township, Guangde City, Anhui. Seeing on our WeChat group that I had visited Wuzhen and Hangzhou, he called and invited us to Guangde for a couple of days. The distance seemed manageable (150 kilometers). On the morning of the 12th, after revisiting scenic spots such as Yue Fei's Temple at West Lake, we drove to Jiulong Village in Guangde City, making it a three-day round trip. Traveling from Zhejiang into Anhui, although there were no famous attractions along the way, the scenery was truly beautiful. Staying in my cousin's house, which was as good as a guesthouse or hotel, we enjoyed two days of lazy, leisurely life. Suddenly, I felt that this is what true travel should be like.
This is my cousin's residence, a homestay-style house built according to the village's unified planning. His house is a three-story building. The first floor has an entrance hall, kitchen, dining room, and living room. The second and third floors are bedrooms. It has been decorated to the standard of a hotel, with eight standard rooms. Although this is not a tourist area, the scenery is comparable to some scenic spots. It is truly a wonderful place for a vacation and relaxation.

The area is rich in white tea, and there is a workshop in the village that purchases and processes tea leaves.
The achievements of the new countryside construction can be seen everywhere.
In the mountainous area of southern Anhui, scenic spots can be found everywhere.

A self-service kitchen we saw during our rural tourism. It happened to be a Sunday, and it was fully booked.
