Additionally, during the period from the twelfth lunar month to the first lunar month, fireworks and firecrackers were set off daily, while gong and drum teams sang and danced with joy—this was the ancient lantern festival. Today's Spring Festival Lantern Show has evolved with modern technology. This year's Jingzhou Garden Expo Park Spring Festival Lantern Show blends modern technological elements, draws on Xi'an Qujiang Cultural Tourism's rich experience in operating lantern festival brands, and relies on Jingzhou's thousand-year historical and cultural heritage, promising to bring everyone an unprecedented experience of light and shadow. This year's lantern show features 43 sets of various lanterns, distributed across different scenic spots in the park with a well-layered layout, ensuring that visitors can feel the festive atmosphere in every corner of the park. Among them, the "Ox Reverses Fate" themed lantern set vividly displays traditional zodiac painting techniques in the form of paper-cutting; the "Blossoming Wealth" themed lantern set weaves blooming flowers with light and shadow, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune; there are also red apple lanterns hanging on trees, signifying peace, and colorful auspicious lanterns... The hazy glow of lanterns fills the garden, as if in a bright and fiery fairy tale world. The lantern show also specially features six activity areas: the Grand Welcome Area, the Fashion Performance Area, the Commercial Creative Area, the Social Media Check-in Area, the Food Interaction Area, and the National Trend Experience Area.
