2021 Jingzhou Garden Expo Spring Lantern Festival Is Coming! A First Look at the Stunning Scenery
Tomorrow is the Little New Year, which marks the beginning of the grand Spring Festival and the prelude to the entire Spring Festival celebration. On such a special day, the Jingzhou Garden Expo Spring Lantern Festival will officially begin. Among them, the “Inspire Jingzhou” lantern group, standing 12 meters high and 36 meters long, creates a powerful visual impact for visitors, allowing them to experience the grandeur and exquisite craftsmanship of the Jingzhou lantern festival right at the entrance. The “My Motherland and I” lantern group in the China's Strength section depicts the inseparable bond between individuals and the motherland. “Phoenix Coming,” “Chu-Style Festivities,” “Dreams of Jingchu,” and others highlight Jingzhou's unique local cultural characteristics. Lantern groups such as “Happy Clapping” and “Happy Little Boat” are filled with dreamy entertainment elements, enriching the lantern festival with a sense of technology and modernity.
Moreover, this lantern festival has also strengthened activities such as performances, interactions, and food experiences, transforming static lantern viewing into interactive entertainment, enhancing the visitor experience, and turning this classical ecological park covering an area of 1,550 mu into a world of colorful lanterns. Visitors freely wander through the hustle and bustle of ancient and modern times, “walking among the lanterns as if traveling in a painting.” Under such brilliant lighting, the Garden Expo radiates the most captivating charm of “Chu culture.”
